@picklemonster1001 I was 'against boy bands' also. I remember - probably out of peer pressure - I didn't 'like' Take That, seeing them as a group that only girls like... you know. Whenever I went to the local swimming baths, they played a Take That tune seemingly everywhere hour. I remember that, whenever one of their songs came on, I would say to my mates, 'Let's duck under water so we don't have to listen to this crap!' All the while, I was thinking to myself, 'This is excellent!' :-P

When i left Primary School our music teacher took this song, changed a few of the lyrics so that they said our teachers names and stuff and we sang this at our primary school's leavers service, it was great!
It shows that they are so humble about all the fame and praise that they have recieved. More artists/celebrities should have that outlook on their lives.
There's never going to be another boy band as great as Take That. Gary's wonderful lyrics, the fantastic routines, the vocals and the strong bond they share. They experiment and have fun. Take That are the best of their kind. I'm grateful that my aunt still has all her Take That tapes and CDs. :)
@Babbbayyy I know what you mean and it's so stupid. Anyone can be a fan. Take me, I'm 21 from the US and just discovered them a few weeks ago. Now I love all of their music and keep finding things that make me an even bigger fan. They have real talent, that's the main appeal.

I didn't realise that there even *was* a Take That song that HOWARD sang lead on ... who knew? :-p I only vaguely remember this. I remember wee Mark doing lead vox on "Babe", as we stood in KDW in Berlin watching it on the monitors when it was 'new' (I think). Gawd, was that really that long ago !?! :-) At least our Robbie has a solo bit towards the end of this one.

This song is so euphoric...The choir adds this uplifting gospel feeling to it....Take That's music is so NOT generic Boyband music, even their earlier stuff...I still listen to it today....This song is so mature and deep for a Boyband...Gaz is an incredible songwriter/composer, and their Harmonies are FANTASTIC <33

But for me, this song brings immense nostalgia from my teenage past.... So much growing up and bullshit and the loss of family has happened since then, It hits you hard when think back to a care free time in your life.
I was a rebel against boy bands and shitty pop music back then, But it's amazing the feelings and meanings this all brings back :(

@picklemonster1001 I was 'against boy bands' also. I remember - probably out of peer pressure - I didn't 'like' Take That, seeing them as a group that only girls like... you know. Whenever I went to the local swimming baths, they played a Take That tune seemingly everywhere hour. I remember that, whenever one of their songs came on, I would say to my mates, 'Let's duck under water so we don't have to listen to this crap!' All the while, I was thinking to myself, 'This is excellent!' :-P

There's never going to be another boy band as great as Take That. Gary's wonderful lyrics, the fantastic routines, the vocals and the strong bond they share. They experiment and have fun. Take That are the best of their kind. I'm grateful that my aunt still has all her Take That tapes and CDs. :)
