@LeonardoROFLCOPTER in japan the original games were red and green, but in everywhere else it was called red and blue. when they made the third genration remakes for the original games they never made waterBlue only fire red and leaft green. I'm pretty sure the pokemon community asked for one but they denied it.

I believe Game Freak had a trademark filed for the name "WaterBlue". I think they ditched the name for LG because water and fire are opposites, so they didn't want to give the impression of any conflict.

to change the colour of the background repeat stage when you open pallette viewer but this time save as BG and when you open the string, go to the end but one, and then copy it, and edit the colour of the green one and the two black ones to any you want :) this is how to edit the background :D

well the numbers vary but to change the colour of the flames and sprite - the UNLZ number usually is 140 but it varies so look aroudnt his number, to edit pallettes requires a programme called APE also known as Advanced Pallette Editor, to edit the flames colour, go to VBA load your rom, and when the title screen with charizard appears go to options and Pallette Viewer - where you see a load of different colours, to edit flames save "OBJ" not "BG" OBJ is for sprites, then save as PAL *more*

when you have your pallette go to APE and open the rom and then where you see "from offset" change to "by searching" and then import your pallette. then click copy and you have two of the same. then to change the colours change the numbers to a certain number in hex format - like 23EA or sommet and you get a colour, then you press search at the top and you get the offset of the actual pallette click replace and it should save it, then once done, load your rom again in VBA and see the changes :)

this took me 5 straight days to figure out all this and how to change charizard to blastoise! it irritated me loads, but with patience and a lot of failure overcome it worked and i succeeded! :D
