I love each and every one of these men. Not only could they sing and dance, but were/are individually some of the most classiest men around. Levi had the best voice around. Not a single line up change until Lawrence passed. Only Duke is left and he is still rocking. RIP Lawrence, Obie and Levi. You will always be loved!

I too was one of those white girls that Levi introduced to soul and it has been such a part of my life. I feel so sad today for the loss not only to his family but for all of us who truly loved him. I was fortunate enough to see him everytime they came to MO and I can only say there were none better than Levi Stubbs. He is now finally at peace and singing with the angels and oh what a sound that must be. We will miss you. RIP you will never be forgotten.

Levi, thanks for introducing a lil' white girl growing up in MA back in the mid-60's to soul. I saw the Tops twice...fabulous! Your voice dominated the AM waves back in the 60's, and I swear that you and Roy Orbison were among the few singers who could have gone into opera (I still laugh about your part in Little Shop of Horrors!).

Their harmonies were weak in this one, which is strange cause in other songs of the concert they were much stronger......DAH WELL. I like the tune of this version. and Levi still sounds strong. May the Good Lord bless him.

My favourite group of all time, bar none - awesome set of guys. You just don't want these guys to get old, but its something we cant control. I believe Levi probably should have semi-retired before this point - and maybe did a handful of concerts rather than touring. I think this could have been a contributing factor to his failing health, such a strain he would be putting on himself singing in such a high range in his senior years. As they say on ebay A+++++++ Highly reccommend :)

That's your opinion. But I have a surprise for you. You'll find a lot of abilities becoming worse as one gets older. And there's not much you can do about it except live right, i.e. don't abuse your body.
