i think the 2 led that lights up on the white controller is to show you that it is the 2nd controller... if 1 led lights up means 1st controller...

Liked the video. I just got my white one imported from canada (in live in the UK.) no problems what so ever, works, feels and looks like the original black one, apart from it being white of course. Only concern was the light coming through the case..but you have to expect that with the materials they used to make the white ones.

I bought a fake one from a guy via internet in bolivia (white controller) turn out to be fake it worked perfectly but i couldnt stand the idea of paying 60 dollars for a fake one so I called up the guy told him I wanted another one met with him again kick his ass and told him I wanted my money back went back to his house with my brother and got my money back I havent felt so good in a long time.

The reason why the two light is lit up, is probably because of the light piping. The light from the LED of the one light, bleeds into the clear plastic of the two light.

It could be possible you have 2 wireless controllers connected to the ps3, and that controller is the not the main controller, so it won't take commands from it.

I emailed the seller from HK and he told me to return it but it was too expensive for me to do that and so after he actually gave me a 15 dollar partial refund..well that is better than nothing and then i unboxed the controller and all the buttons worked fine lol ok...

Dont know if anyone has mentioned it but when two of the led's are lit up like the white one was in this video it usually means its assigned to slot 5 - 7. Only the controller assigned to slot 1 works on the xmb so that only one person at a time has control over the system.

i bought this same controller and it worked untill the system update 3.0 came out, and it put knock off controllers out of comission. there is only one way to use the controller, u have to have the first ps3 which could play ps2 games, first start a ps2 game with a regular controller then once the game is started turn on the fake and u can use it with ps2 games, after u quit the game and go back to the main mune the controller stops again, but other than that it will never work for a ps3 game

when i first got the controller out of the box i had to sync it to the ps3 via the usb cable, but it still was none responsive even when connected with the usb cable...

People won't sell that cheap unless they state a reason why , fake controllers are normally around 30$ and they say they're NEW but out of the box..just buy from USA and do your research so you dont get scammed like I did.

Good infos. Dude I was so pissed too when I got mine because it was a gift for my lady. I bought her a silver and a white (legit) for trying to save a few bucks and buying from partneringco off of ebay.

Also as far as I know on legit controllers you add up the lights to tell which number you are since the ps3 supports 7 devices. So on a real controller that would be number 3.
