i was born in 89 and used to love looking at the vhs boxes for this movie and others like it at the rental store back in the early nineties. I guess my love for 80s horror can be blamed on those vhs covers. They just don't make the box art for horror movies the way they did back then anymore. even the re-releases have been changed.
I totally agree!! I worked at a video store for 3 years and we still had all of these movies some even on VHS which was awesome! I love this movie! You can get most of these 80s movies on DVD now.
@ROTLDzombi snap dude, i find a lot of films nowadays that ive never seen just from remembering the covers in the video store i went to three times a week, i was to young to watch em then but i can sure as hell watch them now and this is soon to be one of them cant believe i havnt seen this already it looks awesome
I used to work for a mom-and-pop video store, so stuff like this is very appealing.
I have a TV Spot from WPIX 11 in New York that aired in November 1988. It said it started Wednesday (the tape is from the week before Thanksgiving), so it leads me to believe that it perhaps opened in theaters in the New York area in right before Thanksgiving.
The videos is contained in the "Iron Eagle" commecial breaks videos on my channel.
