Wright would be considered a conservative as the very remarks they are showing (out of context) are from a sermon based on Old Testament scripture and spoken from a fundamental/literal perspective. I was an undecided independent voter still somewhat leaning on John McCain, then I saw this negative attack ad earlier on prime time TV slot....well, this did it!!! The RNC has just gone too far with only 2 days left. This is very ugly and absolutely the worst in American politics....the politics of hate and racism has no place in 21st century when the country is at its crossroads at most critical times in U.S. history. Obama will get my vote tomorrow.

The mark of an intelligent person is to be able to take other's views, however wrong or right, and to place them into context so as to not allow undue influence. Obama wasn't a child when he attended Wright's church...he knew what was right and wrong.

Obama attended Wright's church for TWENTY years. When this became an issue during the DEMOCRATIC primary, he insisted that he could no more disown him than he would his grandmother. Mccain did not attend Hagee's church forlong, nor did he choose him to be his primary spiritual adivser.
Wright is actually a minor issue. I reject BHO for his dubious record, notably his ties to acorn and failures with the Annebnerg project.

Solomon - true. Also, he made the statement before Obama threw Rev. Wright under the bus. However, Rev. Yeary was being a peacemaker - and I think he let it go at that. I see why McCain didn't want to use this in ads, but I also think it is a vital reminder to voters - Obama previously stated he went to church every week. After Rev. Wright's "God D**m America" stuff came out, suddenly Obama recollected that he had not attended that often. Most people don't know that Wright was Obama's mentor.
