  • LOL it's 100 grand for a R32 here

  • @ClubbySuperCharged WTF more like 100k for the R34. R33s don't even pass 70k.

  • @lkiller123 140K for a used 1000hp R34 lol. R33 are rare because they are not famous.

  • No one cares you douche

  • they should have swapped drivers and gone another round

  • are they at Tsukuba Circuit?

  • Yes those were Tsukuba .

  • the only good thing about my country guatemala is that is not ilegal to have skylines and a GTR R32 cost in my country 16,000$ and if you want it left handed the conversion cost 2,000$

  • pesos or us dollars?

  • us dollars!

  • yea. you do need to change some things for the skyline, or you could just get another US license plate and hope you dont get caught. lol

  • :-)

  • hahaha oops. that was suppose to be a reply. haha

  • Thank You.

  • nissan skylines are illegal in the US because they do not meet safety standards. skylines do not have side impact bars and they do not pass smog.

  • they can pass smog with minimal mods. it depends more on the testing conditions than the car itself. the readings are supposed to be taken shortly after the engine is started, they will pass smog if done like that. they do require some structural mods though to pass impact safety reqs.

  • I hope Obama can change that! hahahahahaha

Though seriously, the standards for cars here in the US suck! In fact, Japan is doing more than the US to help stop global warming. While in America, we come up with ideas but never actually do any of them. Yet we still drive big ass SUV's but it's illegal to have skylines. Oh the irony!!!!! lol

  • really..it depends on what state you live in..if you ship one over here..they put plates in your engine..when i buy one..im taking them out ^^

  • No Skyline can be legalized because there is no Registered Importer to do it - MotoRex WAS the only RI that was able to do it but they went out of business in late 2005. According to NHTSA, the only Skyline eliglble to be imported is the R33 from 1996-1998 or something like that, bu there is no RI to meet all the requirements (DOT, US Customs etc) Any other method not complying with U.S. regulation is considered illegal, including Kit Cars - even if some states allow it, it is not FEDERAL LEGAL.

  • how about in canada?

  • Canada= easy as fuck to import cars. Paying much over 12 grand for a gtr r32 is a rip off.

  • well not really, a gtr in not so good condition can be had as cheap as 400,000yen or around 5,500CAD at the time i write this. but transporting costs at least 1,000$ for RORO. if you bring a bunch of cars over in a container it's cheaper but risks damage. then there is 14% tax thanks to government, air conditioning fee of 100$, then legalization fees, etc. a 5,000$ car can end up at over 10K. nice cars get more tax. a super clean gtr is worth 15-16k, nismo version is worth more.

  • @fatoni698 qubec is the best place right now since rhd cars arent able to be put on the road there anymore.. all the cars that were forsale after being shipped here are now waiting to buyers from other provences to come get them... r32 125xxxK mint car i looked at it myself 5500 ... and a GTR for 8500 ... both mint not a single problem..

  • @driverdriver1 I would say I am about to go there and get 1 for that price but that in canadian money is like 10k american I think I can find a r32 here for that price and save my gas money lol

  • @fatoni698 fuck me in nz to get one that isn't thrashed by some kid your paying 18-22k for a geniune r32 GT-R !

  • @vteckpwr Ya right now we have some very nice examples of r33 GTRs going for like 12-14 grand

  • @fatoni698 yeeee, i imported my r32 gtr check it out.

  • @ReidHarris7 Yeaaa, just sold my JDM MR2, only buying American made from now on. Nice car though..

  • @fatoni698 Depends what condition car you buy, An Australian version of a R32 GTR was just sold recently for 50k AUD thats the year 2011. Only one owner immaculate condition. Only 100 of the aussie version were built tho.

  • @fatoni698 Ive seen them for as low as 5 grande with only 70k on the engine and body :) It's just a matter of insurance is way too much for me.

  • @SuzkiRm85Kijiji 5 grand, WHY in the hell is it so cheap in canada? An OLD USED GTR with 120k on the speedo will go for about 18k AUD. I good condition one will be between 25-30k.. These cars were valued at 110k back in 1991. a good condition gtr is well worth every penny of 30k in 2011

  • @btemtd The AUS dollar is a lot lower then the CAN dollar lol. 3 of your dollars is 1 of ours :)

  • @btemtd mate ur thinking of a 34 gtr a imported 32gtr with 80k on clock is only 14K and a 33gtr is 17k and a 34gtr is 30-50k, no one is paying 25k for a 32gtr no matter what spec it is. and i am talking about good condition ones.

    owned a 32gtst, now 33gtr.

  • @fatoni698 Its easy in australia too but an 18k GTR is one that has been thrashed or its an old version, lets say 89 model. For a 94 model clean r32 GTR with low ks your looking at around 25k-30k...... LEts not forget these cars were valued at 110K AUD in 1991

  • well i hope we get more small cars from japan and europe: they give the masses what they want

good fuel eco and reliablity cuz their so simple.

then they can use that money theyll make on making for the 1% of us that wants something thall make us smile everyday

  • @Leokun7 in 2014 you will be able to import 89 skyline gtr's because they will be over 25 years old and will not be required to meet the emission/safety standards

  • S-tune right?

  • whats the top speed a stock nissan skyline can go???

  • look up MINE'S Skyline and gather ur info, this is prolly the best skyline with a stock engine period. (u prolly already know this) haha. it beat the formula nippon at 200m. check it. mine's skyline vs. formula nippon. type it in to see the vid

  • A stock engine is not a stock car. It doesnt even have a stock engine considering it has some headwork.

  • stock all jap cars restricted to 180kp/h with fuel cut. part of their laws for new cars, obviously not left that way very long.

  • nice..nice.nice

  • emissions are something to do with the global warming shit.. basically is pollution

  • the dude in the nismo made too wide drifts.

  • And he drifted to show how fast he could catch back up to the GT-R......

  • love the car!

  • uz r all smokers

  • its not a very scientific test when they are just sideways on every corner

  • i want a r32!

why is it illegal in the US?

  • someone legally imported it here...

  • I think it's because the sterring wheel is on the right and US regulations do not allow it.

  • Not so, it has to do with the fact that they don't meet US emissions standards.

  • That is not true.

  • sry in reply to APO6

  • sweet...great video

  • LOL !!!!

  • fuck i wish i spoke japanese

  • Thanks :)

    i really love this video!
