Great demonstration. My husband has dreads and he would have to pay over 50.00 every week to get them done. So I've learned how to do them with the help of my sister. Question when I put the clip on my hair the new growth seems to unravel, so is there anywhere specific that I need to put my clips or how can I twist the new growth tighter?

@niodiarobinson1 your welcome. and yeah i had that same problem especially when i clipped it the regular way. so thats i clip them the way i do vertically because it holds better. so try it my way and will work ;)

When you get under the dryer do you take the clips off first or get under the dryer with them on? I would think the clips would get hot and start to burn ur head but I dunno

But I remember when I had loose hair it was never good to really comb and brush your hair when its wet cause its more prone to coming out and getting weaker so i figured it was bad to retwist hair when wet. only wetness comes from whatever product i use to retwist

@Dreaves90 what do you mean? it all depends on how thick your hair naturally is and how big you got your locs put in. if you are retwisting them too much that could also be the reason why they are thin.

I actually did my first interlock method (fingers only) today, using your method! I went east-west-north-south, but only one rotation. I combined 99% of my locs last week (yeah, damn near all of 'em).. I love the decision and the thickness! Thx for the tut. *blessings*

@iverson723389 you should try using the same gel that i used in the video. or if retwisting doesnt hold your hair...try doing the interlocking method. it worked wonders for me when i couldnt get my hair to lock.
