  • i m teareyed. love them guys...beautiful.

  • kickin' yo

  • TURN IT UP! In any language!

  • プログレもハードも突き破ったジャスティン・ヘイワードの絶大なるロックンロール曲、ムーディー・ブルース"愛のストーリー"、真のロックを聴いてきた証し曲

  • Stheno & Euryale love The Moodies!

  • I saw the Moody Blues back in the early 70's. They weren't good. THEY WERE TOTALLY SUPER! Very few bands that I have seen including, Led Zep, Stones, Fleetwood Mac, and a slew of late 60's and early 70's rock bands provided such a great sounding performance. I like em all. but the Moody Blues really blew my mind with how well they performed live. Virtually record quality performances.

  • @WillSee11

I saw them live April 2011 and they still sound awesome! They are really the best!

  • Wow I remember looking at this album cover when I was 6. My favorite Moody Blues song. Thank you

  • TY Paul

  • justin hayward is an amazing guitarist, among the best IMHO.Fantastic song, great band.

  • Great song, great quality, and no stupid spinny effects. :D

  • This song rocks!! And Mobile Fidelity really rocks too!! I'll never buy a standard CD again!!

  • My favorite Moody Blues song!!!! The guitar solos can take you away, like a OUT OF BOBY experience!! Just love it!!!!

  • @TheMustangsally75 Yes, Yes. Moody Blues made so many great songs. I saw them in Oakland in the 1980's and by then knew most of their songs by heart. You know it's a great concert when the audience sits listening, sort of entranced by the performance. I saw it happen with Phil Collins in San Francisco too. It was emotional after listening to their music since the 60's. They sounded great, played their instruments just like the songs on the old records. Lamar (65)

  • @emeraldfrog1

I can tell you more of who I haven't seen in concert than who I have. Unfortunatly, The Moody Blues is one of the NOTS! My lose!!! I saw so many concerts in the 60's & 70's, when you didn't have to take out a loan to see them!!!

  • from the ashes - kinda like the mythical phoenix

  • Moody Blues are simply the best. Clean vocals, mind-bending lyrics, lovely melodies, and so much more. I have been enjoying Moody Blues for over 40 years; hope I have another 40 left to continue enjoying them.

  • Powerful song of loss and HOPE

  • It doesn't get any better than this.

Great song, great voice, Justin's a genius!

  • I love this song!

"We're part of the fire that is burning

From the ashes we can build another day"

    I love that part.

  • Their best

  • 1...well, words fail me. 1 idiot will have to do.

  • Scarlett Johansson, my love for you will be forever. May our hearts one day join together. Love always, cosmicdarren

  • I was only 14 when this song came out. Loved it then, still love it! Timeless masterpiece!

  • so beautiful

  • Thanks for posting the Original Master Recording from MFSL! I've been buying their high end audiophile reissues since I was back in high school in the 70's. I'm glad to see that quality never goes out of style. The Moody Blues are PERFECT for the technology of half speed mastering. To Our Children's Children's Children is a masterpiece to listen to by MFSL.

  • @artiesdinos mobile fidelity issued classic rock records and jazz records by wes montgomery duke ellingron stan kenton andre previn also the beatles white album and dark side of the moon by pink floyd

  • 1 person has empty eyes.

  • The bass line on this song is amazing thanks to Mr. Lodges oh so nimble fingers

  • "I'm betting they partied like hell after creating this motherf***ing song!"

As I understand it, partying like hell was a key part of their creative process.

  • I am not sure if I am in the company of my seniors or juniors here but does that not tell you something about the music of The Moody Blues?!

  • Great audio quality of a great song..Cheers......:)

  • I'm betting they partied like hell to celebrate after creating this motherf***ing song!

  • @miles581 I betcha they pulled out all the stops and partied like a bad bear.......I have loved the MB's since I was in middle school..I'm 54 now and they sound just as great as they over thirty years ago.................

  • this song just makes my heart stop....i remembered it a week ago so randomly ...while drawing.... I just love this goddamn song.... and thats when I wondered where the hell had it gone lol

  • this songs just makes my heart stop....i remembered it a week ago so randomly ...while drawing.... I just love this goddamn song.... and thats when I wondered where the hell had it gone lol

  • Listen to the tide slowly turning Wash all our heartaches away We're part of the fire that is burning And from the ashes we can build another day But I'm frightened for the children That the live that we are living is in vain And the sunshine we've been waiting for Will turn to rain When the final line is over It's certain that the curtain's gonna fall I can hide inside your sweet sweet love For ever more
  • we are part of the fire that is burning

  • they were wrong but they were right how the y sang it

  • Road Trip Anyone???

  • Yes! Thank you!

  • driving hard rock riffage mixed with daydream-like harmonies truly makes for a masterpiece.

  • such a vivid song !

  • Sasha Grey, Eric, Kevin, and Victor & I dedicate this song to you.

  • Funny thing: the title of this album is like "the quick red fox jumps over the lazt dog", a way to remember chords. E G B D F

  • @wmacisaac What are those chords to? Or do you mean the notes on staff paper?

  • always loved the art direction of their albums

  • just look in my blue grey eyes MF ....you know..you cant leave me alone for a second......GOD.......YOUR DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!

  • ♪♫♥ !

  • Who ever said that harmony bands can,t kick arse

  • A M A Z I N G !

  • Not in the R&R Hall of Fame--what a crime!

  • Very nice....I fell for this song and "In Your Wildest Dreams" the first time I heard them 25 years ago,and STILL love both songs....

  • thanks for sharing

  • @ameliessong Me too! I was going to marry him...

  • The Mike Malloy Show!

  • It's funny . . . I was never the biggest Moodies fan (I found them a little ponderous and portentuous at times) but I've always loved this song! It rocks and the production is beautiful Great lead guitar, too.

  • @dowcushmanclark an originator in the "symphonic rock" genre cant really be pretentious can they?

  • @lettybones he said "portentious" not "pretentious", which has a slightly different meaning

  • Ha! I think in the US it's "Every good boy does fine" (that's what I learned, anyway...)

  • That and "All cows eat grass". Anyway, love the bass--thanks for posting!

  • There is not a single good reason that The Moody Blues aren't alreay in The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame!

  • Yes, and the only band to tour China.

  • the beatles toured china. Even the Libertines toured china, research nigger, research.

  • "nice clean song"

for the original CD but not the video from youtube

  • MFSL RULES! I have some of their old vinyl; some Beatles. The difference is truly amazing; they deliver all you could ever want in sound recording. This is as good as it gets. Worth every penny to acquire all you can get! The original Beatles box set of vinyl is going for thousands of dollars, but I'm saving up for it; it's worth it. Wow.

  • I have this MFSL disc.

  • "cranks the volume to 11"

    MMMMMMMM ;o)#

  • MFSL needs to show the record industry how music is mastered

  • crazy about this song!

  • It will thrill generations to come until the end of time

This is one of my three all time faves. This, Thunderstruck by ACDC and Locomotive Breath by Jethro Tull

    Moodies Rule

    Tom in Utica NY

  • thanks for posting

  • What he said. Been a Moodies fan since 68, saw them live a number of times. Can never get enough enjoyment of their music.

  • I love the crisp clean sound on this video! Thank you for posting it. I can't possibly find a favorite among the dozens of songs they had so I'll just enjoy them all.

  • What a rare gem! Thanks for posting.

  • Mobile fidelity, makes some beautiful remasters.

  • yeah tell me bout it. i have the complete CD collection

  • Outstanding Pauleyh2! I know low bitrate downloads are the rage these days, & I've done my share. But there is nothing like high-quality physical media played through a good system for real satisfaction.

  • @Pauleyh2 , i have a nice collection of Gold CD's. Some are worth more than others like U2's Joshua Tree & Elton John's Greatest which go for $100 or more on E Bay or Amazon. They only press these once from the original master (until the next technology). Best sounding==Doors 1st album, Dylan's Highway 61, Cat Steven's Tea for Tillerman, Joshua Tree, Supertramp Breakfast, Who's Next, Born to Run. I wonder why The Beatles never done this ??

  • @Pauleyh2 Lucky duck!

  • @StinkFingerr You can really hear the left hand of the piano you cant hear that on the original record

  • artiesdinos. The Original Master Recordings on vinyl sound superb. MFSL does an OUTSTANDING job with the masters.

  • cool
