@dare2727 Much like a lot of the older cartoons; different writers and animators handled some of these episodes, and it shows. Think of it this way. The later episodes had better, more slick animation, yet suffered from some poor story lines(Carnage in C-minor as just one example), as if they threw together the story in a five minute drunken square dance. I'm thankful the kids that grew up in the nineties and later can actually see what we were able to see firsthand what we did back when.

Phantom9252, being in war does not mean you have to use the same low methods your enemy does - otherwise you are not better. Persuading enemies to switch sides willingly is better than forcing them. Chip's idea of dominator discs was not better than Megatron's RoboSmasher or Bombshell's cerebro-shells. Skyfire changed his alliance of his free will and became loyal Autobot, didn't he?
Besides, Optimus could overcome Devastator with one shot, as he did in "Heavy Metal War" and "City of Steel".

i find it funny that in this episode they can never really decide if they want to put bluestreak or prowl on the mission, so they end up with a combination of the two after switching back and forth a few times.
starscream is such a starscream in this episode! he is so right about the splitting of the earth and stuff, but megatron is too much of a loser to admit that. (actually i like all of the decepticons except the constructicons-they suck)
The Autobots are not supposed to be able to fly that is why they need jet packs but they forgot this many times through out the course of the seasons.
Those constructicons below while Devastator is up top are probably cousins of them, they probably needed the money so came down to Earth to get a few bucks. And when they trip Devastator doesn't it seem a little like star wars?
Mixmaster does not talk in his trademark sets of threes, as he previously did in City of Steel. Why would Megatron order Mixmaster to repair Scavenger out in the open where they could be spotted? The Constructicons are shown drilling in the cave at the same time that Devastator is shown outside battling the Autobots.

The decepticons already tried taking the energy from the earth's core. They did it through a crystal that reached all the way down to it. They've run out of ideas already. And how is the earth's core the greatest source of energy in the galaxy? What about, I don't know, a star?

You gotta love (or be annoyed at) the fact that they sometimes can fly, via jets or not, and other times falling is a big deal. All of the decepticons can always fly, so why is it ever a big deal if they're thrown or fall? I still think that devastator shouldn't be such a big threat, or literally as big as he gets. He's made out of 6 medium sized transformers. 4-5 normal sized transformers should be able to shoot the shit out of him. Just pick off each constructicon one at a time.

I'm 21 and I'm enjoying it. It brings back memories of when I watched this show (and the movie) back when I was a little kid. The fact that I still like it just makes it even beter.lol.

The decepticons already tried taking the energy from the earth's core. They did it through a crystal that reached all the way down to it. They've run out of ideas already. And how is the earth's core the greatest source of energy in the galaxy? What about, I don't know, a star?

You gotta love (or be annoyed at) the fact that they sometimes can fly, via jets or not, and other times falling is a big deal. All of the decepticons can always fly, so why is it ever a big deal if they're thrown or fall? I still think that devastator shouldn't be such a big threat, or literally as big as he gets. He's made out of 6 medium sized transformers. 4-5 normal sized transformers should be able to shoot the shit out of him. Just pick off each constructicon one at a time.

No. He was seen after the movie once and then he stopped appearing because his VA died. Now in the 2007 movie, Megs ripped him in half.

I think that an idea to make a live action movie from a cartoon is sick itself, so I won't shut up. The TV show (well, at least Gen 1) and 1986 movie were great, the l-a film isn't. That's all.
