Wow, the voice, at the 3:00 begins such a great display of vocals, I mean, all the song is great but his specific part, this type of shit it´s hard to see nowadays in chino´s voice (TheSovereingRun already explain). Beautiful. Saw them on Warped Tour 98 in Del Mar, what a show.

To answer everyone regarding Chino's voice, he paralyzed one of his vocal chords during the White Pony touring era. Chino is not one for gutterals so his screaming is straight from the chords, no belly involved.... which over a period of 6 years really took it's toll. That's why when you hear him today he sounds more like a banshee, but who gives a shit the Deftones are still amazing.

No he does the deep growls well but Chino has much more distortion aswell as ability and technique with his screams/growls and even inhale sreams that allow him to do screech and loud squeals. Chi's is more forward straight sounding kinda monsterous even Chino's is far more raw. But really that depends what you like when it comes to screams.
