  • I think you have th date wrong since they didnt exist until 1988. But they were awesome while they lasted for sure.

  • i love the 2.5 seconds of the keyboardist.... wtf is his name anyway? is that the guy that died?

  • 0:40 GROAAAR.... wtf ?? haha

  • nice!

  • was that Melvoin on keyboards??? cuz if it was that's waaay creepy

  • Jimmy makes this so much more dynamic... love this version and his drumplay, its just great.

  • @TherealNoblevision Why? Its rad

  • @TheComedyRoad Don't feed the trolls dude ;)

  • Is james in pajamas?

  • sorry I meant to post this to the one with darcys mug shot and the goulish music in the background.

    'I love this video

  • Damn this music is so sickening, makes my stomache hurt

  • The sexiest bass in the whole world. You turn me on .............

  • Who are they supporting at this gig? Or is it meant to be like the 'intimate' bit of the set or something?

  • 1979?...didn't think it was that loooonnnngggg ago!

  • i never liked this track, im not going to 'dislike' it because i dont want to, not at all, but i never loved this track

  • I bet her ace is banging hot

  • She's Hot her booby hangin over the guitar

  • I like how D'arcy dangle her leg at the beginning. She looks very carefree.

  • @amanfromnorthcountry i like how u DONT STFU !

  • i wonder if billy ever slipped darcy his sausage?

  • @darksorcerermusic I doubt it, he thoroughly disliked her and James.

  • @DyingSID666 yeah.i still think he would have.....(my band my bitch etc)....however maybe not.... Billy threw his sausage the way of courtney Love..come on...Darcy shines on that wailing scrubby looking grubby schew...

  • @darksorcerermusic sure he did

  • Always loved the way Billy would modulate his voice from a silky smooth almost-whisper to an almost-scream. I think that, more than anything else, is what defines the Pumpkins' sound.

  • there's always 2 sides of the stages.

1st: rich, known and sometime overrated artists. some of them are not even talented.

2nd: amazing, rich, deep, intelligent, professional and very epic but only to esthetes.

The Smashing Pumpkins was the band of the 2nd category in the 90s. I hated music in 90s but SP really got my attention on mainstream bands. I was amazed how talented and skilled they were for a just "another new band on tv"

  • Wow I was still making turns under the North Atlantic when this was recorded, I was stuck in Kings bay Georgia submarine base and had no idea this music existed. Thanks for post-em them !

  • The drums sound exactly like 'The Boy' at the beginning before the guitar

  • Nice. Tighter than a ducks arse performance-wise.

    :)

  • Einfach schön tanzbar !

  • @beatltanzsmaus no body speaks german big boy

  • Really misses that drum machine. I never gave them credit they deserved back in the day. They can add such a unique flavor.

  • at this time everything between them was all right. they 're all together a fantastic team. Later Billy unfortunately started his fancy flight...:-(

  • Looks like Jonathan Melvoin on Keys so it was before he passed away.

  • @polyesterstarfish there he is

  • Do you know what I just noticed? Type in one single letter on your keyboard into the youtube search bar and the first suggestion... Its a bad song. Or something along those lines. Try it. What has music become???

  • I'm thrilled! Music marked his life. It is unique, incomparable and is not replaced. Eternal Smashing Pumpkins.

  • Nice version. And D'Arcy looking hotter than Georgia Asphalt! Shame how it all went down. Still, their catalogue is as rich and as fresh as ever and holds up against any of the greats.

  • @jakeenan definitely!!!

  • That's Jonathan Melvoin on keyboards, right?

  • This has to be from the first, mini MCIS US tour in late 95/early 96 where they did an acoustic set in pajamas before the full rock set. At least one of the San Francisco shows was in circulation on VHS back in the day...venue looks similar, but I feel like a lot of theaters this size look similar. If this show existed from this source in full, that would be awesome

  • This had to be before 2000 considering Darcy and James are there.

  • @zipcounty It's from 1995 I think. Mellon Collie tour, before Jimmy was kicked out.

  • What concert is this from?

  • Easily the best performance of this song. Cheers!

  • @ObscuredJellybelly maybe you're right
