Wow! I used to work with Mike Schneider many years and he was a great newsman and friend. Great find, indeed. I still have my vintage WPLG 10 mic flag from back in the days. A little beat up, but rare!
I grew up in S. Fla & Ann Bishop was probably my mom's favorite anchor. Channel 10 5-6PM newscasts were virtually a fixture in our house for years because of her.
The TuesdayC theme is a classic. I also am a big fan of the voiceover announcer, an unknown who was the voice of Post-Newsweek stations in the 1980's.
I lived in New Orleans 1979/80... they used this theme on WVUE/Newscene 8 when it was an ABC station... long before going to Fox in order to broadcast the NFL.
How long did WPLG had the "Multi colored 10" logo?

This was a big day for WPLG. In addition to a new anchor, the newscast also got a new name ("Newswatch 10" became "Eyewitness News") and a new set.
Ralph Renick was still number one, but Channel 10 was gaining.

Mike Schneider would greater success at ABC, NBC, & Bloomberg Television. He also ran for congress in northern New Jersey in 1998, but lost.
