  • Clyde had a quadruple double as a Rocket. He could do everything.

  • clyde drexler is better than lebron(no ring) :D

  • QUE BUEN JUGADOR POR DIOS!!!!!! GRACIAS CLYDE POR TU JUEGO, SIEMPRE TE HE ADMIRADO EN LOS BUENOS Y EN LOS MALOS MOMENTOS. AGRADECIDO POR SIEMPRE

  • He looks like Ray Allen

  • Le Bron, this is how you win a championship!!!!!!

  • the legendary Drexler. I think this guy secretly wore roller skates the way he just moved around the court so smoothly. Loved that play against the magic where he took 2 dribbles from half court and layed the ball in over Scott.

glad he won the title and also gained the accolades he always deserved playing for a larger market than portland.

  • 41 pts in game vs Utah , save ther season.

  • That basketball team was tough as nails, from Dream and Clyde to Elie, Cassell, and Horry. That's how they overcame so much to win that title.

  • Clyde "The Glide" Drexler and Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwan. Reuniting the PHI SLAMMA JAMMA!

  • You can win a spot on Clyde Drexler's basketball clinic (deadline is March 30). Link: (j.mp/DrexlerClinic)

  • still think 3:20 is one of the best dunks ever, considering it was Game 3 of the Finals, and the Summit went CRAZY after it, then Clyde gets a technical foul for bouncing the ball after the dunk........yeah i remember :)

  • With all the stellar NBA stars, Clyde Drexler's statistics are considered "mediocre". But watching him play this game set my blood boil, because he was so exciting to watch. He can literally raise up the excitement of the whole stadium.

  • Two words..... Class act.

  • Kenny Smith at the end? lol

  • good job. loved it.

  • I loved how Tracy Murray felt the need to wave at the crowd even though he was a complete afterthought in the trade and wasn't even on the Rockets' playoff roster that season.

  • i think 1988-89 season was great for Clyde 1991-92 for sure He deserved for MVP

  • clyde was in that year only voted to the all nba third team

that says a lot about basketball iqu of the americans

he was way better than that in that season

for me his far best season ......almost as good as in 1992

  • 3:20

I love how clyde could somehow see the court with his head always down.

  • how much do i miss the team of worrel and murphy...

  • oh please, look at the stats from 1990-1993 the Rockets owned the Bulls even with Jordan.

  • poor tracy murray...got absolutely NO LOVE from anyone during clyde's introduction.

i know it was clyde's big moment and return home...but i wouldnt even have walked out if i was tracy and they didnt even introduce me!

  • man there legends

  • seriously how SMOOTH was the Glyde? I remember being 14 or 15 (early teens) during these years and me and my pops and brother would go absolutely APE SHIT over these games. MY GOD was that a fun time to be in Houston. Even listening to the games on the radio were outstanding!!!!

  • Portland missed being a dynasty by the flip of a coin in 1984. Can you imagine Dream and Clyde playing together for 10 years?

  • @radio187 what about MJ and Clyde? they had their chance lol

  • 1:24 I remember watching that game against Denver. I remember Calvin Murphy going insane like you hear him on the broadcast.

  • i remember that as well, i had recorded it on Sportscenter back when they used to do "plays of the week".. i used to watch it over and over..

  • clyde drexler. the true legend. won his ring at this home town, what can u say? RESPECT.

  • I really see good things this season with Artest. Landry, Scola, and Brooks looking nice. Joey Dorsey will be intimidating this year. I'll just say, we have the deepest and most talented team in the league.

Nice champion rings and playoff experience with Brent Barry too. We got the 3 shooters, 10 guys playing 20+ mins a night if we need it.

How about defense with Artest and Battier?

"They are the team to beat", Gregg Poppovich

About to play the Celtics, excuse me.

  • lol

  • best two years in sports ever!!

  • They just aren't making'em like this anymore, player who played the game to WIN and wanted to be a CHAMPION! No bitchin' about contracts, and money, and being whiney assed selfish overpaid pansies like there are in todays game. Glide & Dream 4ever!!!

  • @bigtexansfan hell yea i feel ya dawg fuck tha nba elite players, Excluding kevin martin n kyle lowry they are floppin ass whinin ass cryin ass pussy ass bitch made players who destroy tha game wit all that floppin bullshit

  • @bigtexansfan This comment made my day. you are completely right, like what the hell is wrong with basketball? crying about contracts? crying about your team? what the hell is that about. your comment really made my day

  • @bigtexansfan I wonder if people are gonna say the same thing about lebron in like 20 years...he just wanted to win...

  • @sera7ares Bingo! I say LeBron is one of few in the league today who's not doing it for the money anymore, he want's to be a champion. Anyone who knows anything about basketball simply know that wasn't going to happen in Cleveland.

  • i still rememebr that 2nd quarter of game 1 in the finals, there was a period where Clyde was literally everywhere on the court, getting rebounds, scoring, stealing passing...it was incredible.

  • I'm an NC State guy and personally believe that Hakeem and Clyde were owed something after '83 - so why not an NBA title with the Rockets? Terrific stuff.

  • I'm an NC State guy and personally believe that Hakeem and Clyde were owed something after '83 - so why not an NBA title with the Rockets? Terrific stuff.

  • glad to see this guy get his ring... well at that time there were a lot of guys who didn´t... ewing, barkley, malone...

  • Barkley and Malone all because of JORDAN

  • clyde drexler is the man, i wish there would be more players in the nba that would study and learn his style, i miss the grace, the smoothness of "the glide"

  • One of my favorite memories in sports history. Glide getting his ring with college buddy and possibly the best center of all time, the Dream. And dominating Shaq and the Magic! Good stuff!

  • Glad he got a ring before he retired, he deserved it.

  • I remembered that moment when Clyde was calmly giving the post game press conference (as if he didn't know how to celebrate a championship) and Kenny Smith had to come out and show him how!

  • one of the last true gentlemen who played the game.

  • what's your ring size Clyde?

  • hello kefka, it really is a very nice document. Can you post the whole video? Do you have more Clyde the Glide Drexler stuff??

  • yo kefka, can u post the whole vid? that be great

  • clyde drexler is a hall of famer
