I think this was the best period of Belinda's career. This was when she was most heavily involved in the writing of her songs, and it was nice to see her appearing more dressed down, and not so heavily fixed up. Such a shame this period of her career got so little attention, especially here in America. Thank goodness we have YouTube to revisit all of these old moments.

It's surprising checking the stats she had her best success here in The UK, we love Belinda over here, shame some of her songs didn't have the success they deserved, always performed live, great talent, would love a comeback from here!!! I personally loved the in too deep era, some fab songs from that album :-)

In 1993 in Poland it was in polish "top of the pops" in position 2 or 3 for 3 months .For me the best Belinda's song ,number 2 for me is "heaven is a place on earth".

I love Leave A Light On, We Want The Same Thing, Circle In The Sand, Live Your Life Be Free, I Get Weak, Big Scary Animal, Heaven Is A Place On Earth, In Too Deep, Always Breaking My Heart & California are my Top 10 but their order changes all the time HAHA. BUT I FU**ING LOVE THIS ONE, THE MIDDLE BIT WITH THE DRUMS IS WICKED.

Belinda Carlisle has to be the most underrated pop singer of our time...but she is also incredibly rude. I met her at Tower on Sunset in LA and she was extremely cold and to flip to her fans.

She looks gorgeous here. This made no12 in the UK, could have pushed it in2 the Top 10 with a few more appearances! The album went straight in at No9 though, needed a stronger 2nd single to continue the sales, Lay Down Your Arms wasn't very good :-( Here comes my baby should have been released. It's beautiful.

I don't - this is from a very good album. Real was very raw but the songs are excellent. She co-wrote mauch of this album and it was a shame that it was not commercially successful. Career still going anyway so what are you on about?
