No. 2 - Steve Austins surprise appearance at ECW One Night Stand (2005)

There are many other great pops but these were the most intense!!

I think Austin's biggest pops were when he appeared in WM17 and when he returned to help team WWF and overcome the Alliance, before he eventually betrayed them.

ok if the rock came back now half the people wouldn know him and he wouldnt get a loud pop believe me as he got in his wrestling days ...notice stone cold even when he comes out to wwe tvpg now he dont get the same pop he use to get and no one i mean no one got a bigger pop than austin the rock was second in line

After seeing The Rock at the MTV Movie Awards and seeing how much he has bulked up recently, it just gives me that little hope that he may return to WWE one day, and it might be half as good as it used to be.

@senduc + The Rock said he and Vince had planned something for the Summer, but rumors are that Abraham Washington is the new GM, i can't see it being The Rock considering the GM used Austin's catchphrases, next week it the GM will probably use The Rock catchphrases + if it was The Rock he would have made popular choices as GM, instead of making Cena face all members of Nexus

@JamesY2J100 yer i was thinking that too but then i thought you know how everybody was talking as if there is bad blood between cena and the rock. maybe they could do a storyline where the rock is pissed off because cena thinks hes better or whatever. maybe its just wishful thinking but id love to see that. rock would automatically become a face even though he'd have to be the bad guy and cena could turn into a heel saying he worked so hard for the fans they threw it in his face blah blah.

it was tough that we all had to realize that Austin wouldn't come back for a year.
I loved seeing Rock show up and i agree with his speech. but i remember that people backstage were a little ticked off considering he talked about commitment when he went off to Hollywood, and I see their point. Nevertheless, he had a point as well, and he came back during his time off.

It's sad. The loudest pop for Cena when he returned at rumble was like an average pop for SCSA or The Rock. We might get a pop like that when the game returns but Cena couldn't get a crowd reaction like that if he paid every fan in the arena to do so.
