  • I'm not from Brooklyn, my family is, but I do recall some of this from visiting there. I'll have to rely on memory, for so much of it has changed. I'm sorry to say it's not what it used to be. It has changed, for the worst, and those golden days are gone forever. So many of the new residents have no concept or respect for what it once was. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

  • @spideraxis ..Thanks....We're glad you enjoyed it...At least we have our memories of a great time and place to remember.....

  • I like LanzaFan I grew up in the bushwick section. I lived on Weirfield St off Evergreen Ave, I went to Halsey Jr. HS. There was a gang who's members were older than me at the time they were called the Halsey Bops. They were rough but they looked out for us younger guys in the neigborhood. My family moved in Dec 1958 to Ozone park Queens where I later grew up. Great memories on this video.

  • @MVITAC Thank you so much. Glad you enjoyed the video.....

  • Nicely done, I grew up in Brooklyn, Williamsburg in the 50's and 60's. My memories are strong and always with me. My wife grew up in Brooklyn too, Crown Heights.

  • I really loved this song & film but PLeAse, pLEASE...I know I've heard this song before attached to either a TV series or a movie..It's truely driving me nuts!!! Can anyone help me figure out where I've heard it before????

  • @shilo577 .....This song was the opening theme for a TV series called "Brooklyn Bridge" which aired for, I believe, 2 seasons in the early nineties. The original song was only one minute long and was sung by Art Garfunkel. We wrote additional lyrics and arranged it into a full three minute song. We are glad that you like our version. Thank you for your comment.
