killer he sounds like Stevie some what but does his on twist blues rock rules you wont find much that stevie didnt cover in his licks so well all sound like him
@leonardocavaco Kenny was influenced by Stevie.. Stevies band Double Trouble played with him. It's blues.. blues is a lot of the same style. They do a lot of covers of each others work. Are you saying Stevie should have never played any Jimi?
You forgot the talent and the feel, a guitar and a pedal with an apm don't do anything , with out a talented guitarist.
I have seen a lot of guitar players with very expensive gear and they suck, i have seen guys with a 100 bucks guitar and a just an amp witthout fx and they are awsome.
@EBDynamicMedia True, but it does help to have nice gear like he does, I mean if he was playing a $100 guitar instead of that 1961 stratocaster he wouldnt sound nearly as good. he would still sound good dont get me wrong but not nearly good, I mean thats the Holy Grail of guitars he's playing.
The change in Kenny from this time period to current day is amazing. Here he seems very shy. He never looks at the crowd. He just stares down at his guitar and rocks out. These days he really works the crowd and his concerts are a lot more entertaining.
Thats just like saying all geniuses are copying Albert Einstein. If they didnt follow his example, wed all still be driving cars like the flinstones, now apply that to music :)
