im guessin he doesnt use tabs....tabs are not really good. I mean they are ok @ first while learning..but afterwards you are better off learning by ear. Your goal should be to have your ear tell you a lot more than tabs, and sometimes even sheet music can tell you

I totally agree... Another important thing: it's better to create a personal solo, not to copy the one of the original song. It improves your ability in jamming.
