You did a good job of explaining how to solve the cross- very clear.
Personally, I like teaching the "daisy" technique to beginners, where the solver puts white edge stickers around the yellow centre to start, making a daisy-like design. After that, the solver rotates the daisy to match the colors on the side, then rotates each petal 180 degrees up to make a cross.
I've never heard that before but I will make another tutorial that uses it. Good thinking.
