Even after beating Skyward Sword, this is still my favorite Zelda game. I love the dark, brooding atmosphere and the truly epic music that make this game seem like it came straight from Gothic literature.
I disagree on the flaws aside from the easy bosses and the master sword puzzle. But there's more flaws. The new items have almost no use once you complete the dungeons. The game is incredibly linear. The storyline doesn't make sense. Zant while he sounded evil turned out to be a fuckin dumbass. The let's put it back thing when you can't carry more rupees is lame and annoying. There's no hammer, light arrows, or magic meter. It's a good game. But damn is it overrated.

Obviously it would never happen, but hypothetically, if you did come into ownership of the rights to any of these games, do you think you would have removed the disclaimer without this message? :P
I love how Nintendo makes people sudder at the sound Water Temple XD Thats why the Water temple is my favorite and I love swimming (Not great) but I can hold my breath for a long time. Water is nice to me and Im nice to it too.
Its one of those Zelda games when people dont know its you (Oot when ur an adult for example.) and sometimes I wish Link could tell his secrets to his friends (Like how the Kokiri were really sad and guilty when Link hasn't retutrn for 7 years) for when your a wolf, sometimes that happens.

Am I the only one who thinks Nintendo should make an original Zelda game with the Ocarina of Time engine, characters and graphics like they did with Majora's Mask? They could release it on the Virtual Console or maybe even on the Nintendo 64 (like some one did when they made Halo 2600 on the Atari 2600 in 2010).
I have this game on the gamecube, so all the tinkering they did to make it functional on the wii made it way too easy for my taste. That being said it's a Zelda game so of course i loved it. I also liked the return to the darker presentation. I was never a big fan of the cartoonish Wind Waker.
I agree that TP should be 5/5, I even liked some of the stuff he said he didn't like (I like Saria's forest song even though it's different, I find it fits because it's more mysterious for the setting) and I think TP's Lakebed Temple was better than OoT's Water Temple and I kind of liked the Skytown's music, I agree about moving the two statues back in the right spot challenge though, Zant is one of my favorite game characters, the sword-combat system is just EPIC and I liked the items

I liked how in-depth the story is in Twilight Princess, but the gameplay's very similar to the Wind Waker (Nothin' wrong, but it's very similar still), Ganondorf's at the VERY end, almost expectedly, and Zelda didn't play much of a role in this like she did in the others. However, this game rocks regardless, and should be referenced in future titles! =D
Yeah, I own nearly every The Legend of Zelda title, except for Wind Waker, Link's Crossbow Training, and the new Skyward Sword (obviously). I most like the areas to explore and the items I can find and use, but after awhile I just have to quit because I get bored. This is the same with the Metroid series. I like the sheer size of the game and the hidden powerups, but it just gets boring. I also get tired of the doom and gloom of the storylines.
It went downhill after Wind Waker. The DS games sucked, Twilight Princess was meh...Skyward Sword looks like more of the same from the E3 demo, I'm not going to give up hope though.
I find that interesting. My most favorite "Zelda" games are with Toon Link, and my most favorite of the series is Phantom Hourglass. I also like Spirit Tracks (I LOOOOVVVVVEEEE steam locomotives), but I think Phantom Hourglass is the best out of the series.
When it comes to gameplay mechanics, the series has been around for almost 25 years. It'd be hard to find new ways to shoot a bow and arrow or throw a boomerang. I think the series would be best with less gloom.
cj I had to admit the water temple took me hours to figure out just one puzzle, but I did like the Sky Temple, its my favorite dungeon in the series. its also my favorite in the series and i cant wait for skyward sword
i was playing TP and i was lost in the puzzle my friend came and say can i tray it? i sayd yes way not go on! 15 min. later i was talking whit my other friend and i saw the tv screen the puzzle allmost solved and i say stop! every one say what give me the GC remote plz and thene me and my friend did the puzzle it a good way to do it
If you played that depressed version of Saria's Song for Daurna in oot he probably would have just killed himself right there lol. This is my third favorite in the series, Wind Waker and Ocarina of Time take the top two.

First time playing through it, I freaking loved it. But now when I look back on it I, for some reason, just don't like it very much... I have no idea as to why that is either! I did like Midna, I did like being a wolf, but some of the things I just kinda didn't like. Why does Link have a beyblade or a ball-and-chain? What the HELL happened to the Gorons?
You know I can kind of see that. I thought it was my 2nd favorite but now I'm starting to like Wind Waker a little more for some reason. Maybe I should give TP a third playthrough.

OOT was fun (in my top 3), but there were complaints about that one too.
Really? My personal opinion, don't bash me, for Super Mario Galaxy is that it's painfully easy. Sure, the worlds are beautiful. Yes, the music's fantastic. However, it's just too easy. Luigi's role sucked by the way and the Flying Cap was worthless.

i know this does not relate to zelda (which is the best game series ever -in my opinion-) but i must ask... what do you use to record your game footage? i know for the computer there are things like Fraps but what do you use to record wii/gamecube footage?

@neoman289151 She possess at least Human level higher intelligence (I would find that more than enough on it's own to make something even of a completely different species,biology,physical appearance,etc. Human) and you do have to realize that she like Link have been transformed and how she actually looks at the end of the game is indeed very Human like ergo a "Person".

@D8W2P4 Hmm,guess I can't disagree, and the whole her liking link thing still creeps me out to this day xD I mean, she LOOKS human, but..... she ISN'T, she's some sort of humanoid being from another dimension, and when does she possess someone? she can't transform, at least, not without the shadow things

@neoman289151 Well there are multiple kinds of love ranging from a love of activities and things or a very close friend or family member all the way to the kind of love that people will marry for,quite frankly as much as they went through any of the types of love are alright in my honest opinion,it may seem odd but it is really just a location difference.

I LOVE the music in the sky temple and I LOVED the water temple! Don't diss them. Plus that puzzle before the temple of time was awesome! Albeit a bit annoying...
Anyway, yeah I really liked this game, the only part I didn't like was the whole Wolf and Twillight realm bs.

i loved this game i was really young when it came out, but i loved it anyway i was reluctant to watch this video because i knew it would just make me want to play it again and i actually might, but i liked the review and it makes me want to buy a wii just so i can go by this game for it(because i own the Gamecube one) and buy skyward sword when it comes out

my all time favourites are OOT, this one and WW. the DS games are good but not spectacular, the only 2D game I played was minish cap and it was ok and despite the fact I have the first two on the collector's addition, I couldn't get myself to play them

I liked how in-depth the story is in Twilight Princess, but the gameplay's very similar to the Wind Waker (Nothin' wrong, but it's very similar still), Ganondorf's at the VERY end, almost expectedly, and Zelda didn't play much of a role in this like she did in the others. However, this game rocks regardless, and should be referenced in future titles! =D

Yeah, I own nearly every The Legend of Zelda title, except for Wind Waker, Link's Crossbow Training, and the new Skyward Sword (obviously). I most like the areas to explore and the items I can find and use, but after awhile I just have to quit because I get bored. This is the same with the Metroid series. I like the sheer size of the game and the hidden powerups, but it just gets boring. I also get tired of the doom and gloom of the storylines.
My favorite games are Super Mario!

It went downhill after Wind Waker. The DS games sucked, Twilight Princess was meh...Skyward Sword looks like more of the same from the E3 demo, I'm not going to give up hope though.

I find that interesting. My most favorite "Zelda" games are with Toon Link, and my most favorite of the series is Phantom Hourglass. I also like Spirit Tracks (I LOOOOVVVVVEEEE steam locomotives), but I think Phantom Hourglass is the best out of the series.
When it comes to gameplay mechanics, the series has been around for almost 25 years. It'd be hard to find new ways to shoot a bow and arrow or throw a boomerang. I think the series would be best with less gloom.

cj I had to admit the water temple took me hours to figure out just one puzzle, but I did like the Sky Temple, its my favorite dungeon in the series. its also my favorite in the series and i cant wait for skyward sword

Twilight Princess is my favorite in the series. I love every dungeon, and I actually love the Sky Temple music.
I love the Guardian Puzzle, too. I actually wish there was a whole minigame with a bunch of them, like there was for the Ice blocks.

The water temple in OOT wasn't hard at all. I had to go back to a room about once, and that's it.
The water temple in this is waaaay too easy. It is just "3" parts if you know what I mean.

i was playing TP and i was lost in the puzzle my friend came and say can i tray it? i sayd yes way not go on! 15 min. later i was talking whit my other friend and i saw the tv screen the puzzle allmost solved and i say stop! every one say what give me the GC remote plz and thene me and my friend did the puzzle it a good way to do it

If you played that depressed version of Saria's Song for Daurna in oot he probably would have just killed himself right there lol. This is my third favorite in the series, Wind Waker and Ocarina of Time take the top two.

I know I'm gonna get a LOT of thumbs down for this, but.... I'm not sure how to feel about TP!
First time playing through it, I freaking loved it. But now when I look back on it I, for some reason, just don't like it very much... I have no idea as to why that is either! I did like Midna, I did like being a wolf, but some of the things I just kinda didn't like. Why does Link have a beyblade or a ball-and-chain? What the HELL happened to the Gorons?
Maybe I should give it a second playthrough...

@Arthus850 It's the design that bugs me. In Ocarina of Time, they look kinda naive but friendly and lovable... in Twilight Princess, they look vicious, like they're gonna eat you!

@SwedishKuriboh OK. thanks for explaining. in my opinion their new design is great, since in the original they didn't look strong at all despite the fact they were, but that's just me. to me they still look naive when they smile. the only one who looks vicious at all times is Darbus

@SwedishKuriboh Oh... Yeah, they did look wierd (should I say a little more human with those mammary glands?), but it wasn't like you couldn't tell that they were gorons. Yeah, they did look a little funky. As for the chain-and-ball complaint, it would be like somebody complaining about link having iron boots back in OOT while they were a new item. OOT was fun (in my top 3), but there were complaints about that one too.

Really? My personal opinion, don't bash me, for Super Mario Galaxy is that it's painfully easy. Sure, the worlds are beautiful. Yes, the music's fantastic. However, it's just too easy. Luigi's role sucked by the way and the Flying Cap was worthless.
