Segways will. if you want table service though you could just install an overhead conveyor system to deliver food. clear thin plastic rails attached overhead could probably do the job better keeping food and drinks away from bystanders

I disagree, there is a lot of useful technology that's come from them that we use everyday.They are creating things to help physical disabilities.And besides,what's wrong with them creating such things, you see just as many people of other ethnicities working on things that arn't exactly the most important,these are just the ones that are known of more.And there is a difference between engineering and medicine.Maybe you should do some more research before tacking that on an ethnicity.

Why not? At this stage, 2 wheels maybe slow, but we gotta push to the limits. And soon or later this robot will be able to move faster with just 2 wheels. The makers know it, but they are trying to make a robot that moves on 2 wheels. Amazing how it balances itself on 2 wheels.

Yes, because all of the laws of physics will be negated due to the built-in gyroscopes. The existing leg of the table (one leg w/ two feet, essentially) will have phase blasters to efficiently kill the smart ass child - who wasn't raised properly, thus eliminating the need for worry that there will be an increased number of jackasses populating the planet.

You are right, it cant be argued. ;-) But I think it would be better with a third wheel. 3 wheels can make tight turns just like 2 wheels can, but would be much more stable. In this unit, if the gyroscopes malfunction even a little, its going to fall down. And gyros ALWAYS go bad. Just ask the Hubble telescope, which has had its gyros replaced like 3 times. I know that no mention was made of gyros in this video, but I cant see how it could be made w/o them. It seems like Seqway method to me.

I think they're just exploring new possibilities / showing off now. Its not hard to see that with this thing only having 2 wheels, its going to be very unstable and therefore have no future in the restaurant or club industry, where it could be bumped by people. I think even they know this would be much more reliable with 3 wheels ;)
