She mentioned awhile back that HOTD went down because the webhost went bankrupt or something like that.

Also, hotud (dot) org still has the original downloads and has actually expanded quite a bit.

wow. i remember when i discovered hotu, like, what, five, six years ago? lol. . . i just came to the net tonight looking for a copy of electronic arts M.U.L.E. from the 80's (i just got done trying out their new game. . . I think if more people joined the forums and showed their interest in the site, the creator would have more of a motive to update or even go through the motions of passing the responsibility to people who have the time to do so.
