the best tip i can give you, if you want to continue doing these is. You need to really project your voice. Yes it will hurt but you get use to it. In this it sounds like your just whispering. Otherwise this was surprisingly not bad. Keep it up man.

You should try not using your throat so much, what I do to get power behind it is yell as if you were getting someones attention from across the street and then lower your voice as if you were mimicking a douche-bag. Try working with that and eventually I'm sure you will figure out how to work with your diaphragm and contort your mouth to get better sounding growls/grunts.

with a little more practice you'd probably could growl and scream a lot better, don't be afraid to hurt your throat, it happens, but if it hurts don't go on too long, just drink some water and try it again later.

I'm not the best screamer or growler/grunter, but that's teh way i learned it, and watch the zen of screaming, it teaches how to 'abuse' your voice without doing damage to your vocal cords ;)
