If you know about playing with the controller, you'll know that only the "highest" button is checked for on every tap, which means that when a series of fast yellow notes come up, I can hold down the yellow button and rapidly tap the red and green button on the controller and it will register each tap as hitting the yellow note. I tap the red button sometimes when there are fast yellows because I can tap the red button faster/better than the yellow one, however I don't have very good control ove

If you can tap the fingers fast this is quite an easy song to beat w/ controller. I mean with TDWDTG you actually have to move them everywhere, but still non the less I couldn't do this. Great job.

You would be amazed at how much easier it is to do solo sections (like dtwdtg solos) on the controller than fast same note tapping in this song. this song is easily the hardest one in the game to pass with controller.

i can tap the red button a lot faster than the yellow button, and with a lot higher accuracy for longer, and since the game only registers the highest button during and tap, I can hold yellow and tap the red button to play the song. look up GH standard controller alternate R/G strumming, its a helpful strategy.

If you ever have any single notes that are yellow or higher, you can alternate between LT and LB to be able to hit more of the notes.

Just a quick tip, since it won't wear you out as soon.

yes, That does help me a lot on several songs, I use it most often in Knights of Cydonia (see 5-star video). As far as the yellow deals in The Way it Ends, I find that my meter drops slower when I just single strum red and hold down yellow during that section. Yes, it does wear me out pretty quick, but my rock meter actually lasts longer.
