Wow! Liked that alot. Just throwing this out there, I read somewhere that CSN tried to audition for Apple records, but George Harrison advised them not to. He said the label was going through financial issues.
I hate to say it, but I've always thought CSN's version was just slightly better than the original. And almost as old. I never knew this existed though, I've only heard the part of this that serves here as the third take. Wherever this came from, thanks to that person!
@Maat922 i agree that this is a lot better than the original! Beatles obviously get the credit for writing this beautiful song but the harmonies are what make it better in my oppinion!
Great post. Don't get me wrong I have great respect for Crosby and love his work but he should just shut up and let Stills rip. Stills has the edge in his voice to pull this song off.
