This is a very nice song, but not good for national anthem. Because national anthem should be a song possible to play with a orchester, we can't take a traditional music group to each state visit or sport competition! (there is no setar or santur in an international big band)

And also it is too long. And difficult to sing for a none singer. My suggestion is Ey Iran, and in the second choice Vatanam (the first national anthem we had). :-)

Beautiful! It's amazing how well preserved this stuff is despite all the invasions, especially the Arab one. Amazing, this stuff is so ancient.
