yeah, but that only qualifies if you are playing guitar or bass. You can say that they suck for singing or for drums because that is ACTUALLY what they are going to be doing. if someone sucks at drums on guitar hero, then that probably means that they suck on real drums, in which case you can say that they suck.

That really sucks! My parents didn't want the noise, so I ended up getting a Roland TD-6 electronic drumset. It settles the noise issue, and it's a fantastic set for practicing on! The only problem is that you can't really use it for gigs. So what I plan to do is to save up for an acoustic kit and use it for gigs or whatever, and have my old electronic set to practice on at home. Plus it'll be great in a dorm room! :)

I'm going to say something about the argument whether Rock Band will teach you how to play drums or not. You CAN'T become a good drummer by playing but you can learn something, like me. Before Rock Band I sucked at drums, I even couldn't play the normal beat or a slow blast beat. But now when I have played Rock Band with drums I CAN play the real drums, I can do pretty ¨fast¨ blasts and I can play drums alot better than others in my class at school. So you can learn something by playing RB.

Same... I got rock band 2 about 4 months ago, and I can transfer some of the songs over to a real drum set and play them very well. You have to be a natural born musician though, and have some sense of rhythm... (I also play like 6 other instruments)
