I remember watching this with my dad as well. I was way too young at the time, and he hurriedly turned it off when the boy was getting tortured to death. Dad later explained that the man went mad when his friends were killed and slaughtered everyone else. I have never seen this final fight scene until now, and I am grateful Dad didn't let me see it back then! This is pretty brutal. Thanks for posting this.

@Desheep I remember watching this movie back in 1992 when i was a very little boy. The part where the boy was killed made me cry with the tone of the music. Also, the part where the actor went totally insane gave me goose pimples. I enjoyed watching classic chinese movies back in the 90's. They don't make films like this anymore. I searched all over for this film. I forgot the "thundering" all i could remember was "Mantis". Finally i got it.

I was a young Teen back in NYC when I saw this movie on the big screen. It was called the "Mantis Fist Fighter Strikes Back". This is by far one of the old time greatest ending Karate Flick fight scenes of all time. I would of gone 'BANNAS" like he did...WOW!!
