  • Thank you very much for the informative video. I'm glad someone is brave enough to talk about this subject.

  • my freind's mother has a colostomy bag and i never thought of if you roll over when you sleep and it would burst

you're too young to have to even deal with these kinds of issues.

  • Thanks for the review, good job discussing the features and pros/cons. I've had the Phoenix ostomy belt for ~1 yr, and I definitely prefer wearing such a belt over just the bag free-hanging. In my case however, I did not notice much if any reduction in wear time using the belt vs. free-hanging. I don't know if it has anything to do with the brand of appliance (I use Convatec Natura), but just mentioning. After watching your review I will probably pick up one of these belts to give it a try.

  • I bought my stealth belt from stealth belt web site. just Google stealth Belt and they will be the first result. they have a great web site with many different styles to choose from. I am sorry to say that They are not available from the hospitals (that I know of) The white belt is a Hollister product and the product number is #7300

  • Hi outpatient just wondering where u get those stealth belts from and also the white ones? are they to order from online or can you get them through the hospitals? i live in uk and just wondered if you could help.

  • I need a friend to talk to once in a while thanks everyone,,peace

  • ok just what is the stealth belt sosposed to do,,,i dont understand

  • I have been wanting to buy one of these, but the postage is almost the same cost as the belt, I would like to see the one without the Velcro, I have seen how the one you have works as it in on the website, but the soft night time one with out velco is not shown.

  • @2MyTubes I have been wanting to try that belt for a long time now. I will try to get one for review purposes and make a video as soon as I do.

  • Hi, I'm Rick's Mom. I'm probably the one who made your belt. Thanks for doing this. I notice you wear your ostomy bag vertically in a Horizontal Stealth Belt. We have a Sting Ray Pro that is specifically for vertical wear only. You should turn your ostomy bag horizontally, then you won't have the pooling at the stoma. The matter in a full bag will flow down and away from the stoma so no pooling. You can still empty your bag easily in the horizontal position, just unzip and it falls out.

  • @chihuahua1421 I normaly do turn my ostomy bag to the side. I cant belive I did not mention that in the video. I still find that when waring my belt it cuts down on the wafer life because it still pools. But the Stealth Belt is an amazing product and I cant wait to try out the new neoprene Extreme.

  • I have a belt that they gave me for my ostomy but its because I have a prolasped hurnia I dont use it but the belt I have is white and fits over the stoma I wish we were closer buddy you would be able to help me better,,the belt you have not sure what its for mine is for the hurnia i have,,I have a Illistomy

  • @Dolphindream15 OMNIGON have a great stoma support belt that will help support you.
