  • 0:45 Cardinal rules broken...seriously what is the point of that? Are they trying to show revolvers can't be pushed out of battery or something?

  • Seems like they are aiming for an awfully small market, most woman who are into guns are into guns & not trying to make a fashion statement...

  • Nothing wrong with a pink gun. If it helps women get excited about the firearm and makes it more enjoyable to shoot, then great! I know a few women who got excited about pink guns when searching for their first firearm, more power to 'em. It's not a fashion statement, it's love of the gun. A bad guy isn't going to laugh at any gun pointed his direction.

  • @jhawkdude I suppose, to each their own...

My sons girl friend wouldn't be seen dead with a pink pistol and can shoot the nuts off a fly 300 feet away :)

  • @fmgpubs Why pink? I have alot of customers that own handguns and only one has one and its because her husband bought it . It looks good but in the real world a bad guy is gonna laugh and possibly hurt you before you get a chance to to stop him or her.

  • @GMELECTRONICS365 Just how does making the gun in pink make it any less of a gun?!? Is that same bad guy going to laugh at an all stainless Model 60? Or a titanium/black model 340PD? Or a standard stainless/aluminum Charter Arms Undercover? They all fire the same ammo out of a short barrel. If he's gonna laugh at one why not laugh at the others? I know a lady who carries one of these pink revolvers, & anyone who screws with her will be far too busy bleeding to death to do any laughing!!!

  • @futuresonex I never said it makes it less than a gun . It makes it look like a toy gun . The criminal could still harm you thinking its a toy even if you get a chance to shoot . he would still harm you thinking its fake. I have nothing against them but i have a point here . they look beautiful don't get me wrong but in a real life situation i would prefer my wife carry a different color handgun or revolver than one of these . This would be a gun for a competition or for the range. My opinion.

  • @GMELECTRONICS365 One would think that seeing the big gaping hole in the muzzle would be enough to clue any dirtbag into the fact that it's a real gun! Or maybe big the hollow noses of the bullets visible in the chambers would do it. Seriously, I can't see how ANYONE even remotely familiar with guns could make that mistake, except maybe Micheal Bloomberg and his coalition of scumbag mayors. Looking down the muzzle makes a bigger impression than the color of the frame, especially in lowlight!

  • @futuresonex Keyword familiar . I can distinguish a gun from a toy but not all people are well trained and informed in handguns . There is one thing it only takes one second to pull it out and shoot so if you don't hesitate and act like a Police Officer you will get the upper hand . Now if you hesitate thats where my point comes into play. I have heard a lot of people that carry well like 60% even after going thru the training saying they would point and say stop or i will shoot.

  • @GMELECTRONICS365 Seriously? You really think that a criminal who makes his living by attacking people isn't going to be at least somewhat familiar with guns? We're not talking about your grandma here. Research shows that most career criminals practice more with their guns than do the cops! Furthermore, the vast majority of attacks happen in low light, where the human eye can't readily distinguish color anyway. That pastel pink frame's basically gonna look just like one in bushed stainless.

  • @futuresonex I just said as long as you don't hesitate in shooting and act like a police officer you are ok . If not even if he knows about guns hes gonna take it as a non threat and still attack you that if you hesitate . And i am talking about anyone with a pink gun a female or male age does not matter. You cant put the guy down quick but if you wait and say oh im gonna hoot then he can hurt you before you can do anything about it . This is my opinion i got nothing against this color.

  • I'd take one. Do they make them in dude colors? LOL

  • @saigaish Actually they do make them in several 'dude' colors including blue, black, bronze camo (kinda looks like desert digital) and even tiger stripe.

  • Perfect for when you want the perp to die laughing.

  • @XCritonX Why do some guys insist on laughing at & ridiculing any gun that comes in pink? Or red? Or lavender? Or any other feminine color? That makes NO sense to me whatsoever!!! We guys can have our guns in black, blues, stainless, nickel, silver, FDE, OD, camo, etc..., but women can't have their guns in pink if they choose?!? It's not like this is some POS jam-a-matic. Charter Arms makes pretty good guns, and if a women wants one in pink what's the problem? My stepmother carries a pink .38!

  • @futuresonex There is no reason a women can't just use a normal revolver, as a dude if I want a gun in a stupid color I get it refinished.

  • @BALJIT147 Is there any reason why they shouldn't be allowed to use a pink revolver then? It's a good thing you're not in marketing. You company would go broke! Charter Arms, as well as several other companies including Taurus & Kahr Arms, are doing quite well by catering to the desires of female buyers who want a more feminine looking carry gun. Anything wrong with that?

BTW, ridiculing a woman's gun because it's pink is not a good way to increase female participation in shooting!!!!!

  • @futuresonex I said the perp would die laughing (obviously from a perforated dermis). I didn't say I would laugh. Don't under estimate an angry woman, even if she is holding a cute pink revolver.

(Just to be clear, I wasn't knocking the gun. I just was saying that a bad guy might underestimate the woman carrying it because it is pink. Sometime being under estimated is a good thing in tactics.)

  • @XCritonX OK, I guess I misunderstood what you meant by 'die laughing'. But also keep in mind that in low light conditions, where the bulk of attacks take place, the human eye can't readily discern color anyway. Pastel pink is going to look an awful lot like brushed stainless to any attacker.
