Its just not the most complex drumming in the song. But dont be fooled. Derrick was one of the greatest punk drummers around. Listen to the "DUH" record. RIP. Glad I got to see him play like 3 times with them from 1994-1997

@halloweenking666 depends man...trashed is much heavier, longer songs, more complex (the metal riffs come out here and there)...feelings is much more melodic, poppy, and more produced i suppose ...fuck man theyre both amazing punk albums...get em both...theyre both in lagwagons top 3 albums for sure (with Hoss). shit man writing this has me fucking confused as to which is better...it depends on the mood...PEACE

@halloweenking666 dunno if I'm too late, but Let's talk about Feeling is probably the most accessible, Thrashed is my personal favorite though (the one where they found their sound, and it's still raw). Hoss is halfway between them, so that's why it's often referred as their best.

because punk wasnt commercial yet no one doubted or gave a shit what was punk and what wasnt, thats the difference between us punk kids in the 90s and todays kids. i love how the kids fight so hard to put labels on everything,must be frustrating and time consuming lol!!! this isnt an attack on you,its just a little piece of me dies when i hear lagwagon called "melodic hardcore".
