That being said, I will pose an open ended observations. Capitalism is built on the same principals as a basic pyramid scheme. Another observation being there is a limited amount of resources that can be distributed to the entire world. When one group is hoarding a large amount of one or more resources then whether in our own country or in another some one will foot the bill. Basically for everything you have and don't need someone out there needs something and doesn't have it.

But the problem.. as Ron Paul puts it - Foreign aid is Taking from the Poor of one country, and giving it to the Rich of another country.
Most of what we send that is not People - working for free, is Absorbed by the beaurocracies of the countries we are trying to help.

@FinReVieWs Just check the charters. Every country that provides support, be it the WW Engineers, Blue/Red Cross/Shield, Global Pantry, any and all of them, make their expenses public as part of their maintaining Rescue worker status around the globe.
Discounting the US, Europe provides more support than all other countries combined, but the US provides nearly twice that again. Not because the US is specially generous, but due to the number of independent groups in the US that do contribute.
