just have to say being little all through high school was not easy, I had my group of friends, but when people want to pick on you, it's usually when no one's around. At that time I was about 4'10'' and around 85lbs. Sometimes people (including the bigger girls) would want to just try to lift me, or wrestle with me, or just sneak up on me from behind and hold me up so I would have to try to kick to be let down. Some of it was harmless, but sometimes it was embarassing.

Men (I'm a guy) cannot wear heels which discrimates them. I prefer girls shorter than myself (which renders their numbers close to none) AND I like girls in heels, so you kind of see the problem. If I could wear heels, I could at least be of similar height as my heel-wearing partner. But I can't so I end up with either girls not wearing heels or girls taller than me. Both of which sucks imvho.

Being a midget, officially means that you are 4' 10'' or less. I'm 5'1'', slim, and 18, and I don't think I'm getting any taller. People don't really see me as an adult, and I agree, I find that I'm treated like I'm a child as well. And I can't tell you how many people make short jokes to me. UGH. It's so frustrating. Also, clothes are really irritating to buy, because they're made for tall people. It makes it really hard to be confident.

Also, short women who won't date short men, but complain about being short are miserable people. Not sure if that's you, but I know most are like that.

I have nine year old twins who are super tiny ( the size of a 5 year old) and tell me how hard it is when nobody believes they are as old as they say they are. Dukealba, I'm 24 from the UK & I'm only 5'7 & I honestly had the same trouble as you for a long time until I met a girl who is 5'1, 5'2 who accepted me for my short height. My point I'm making is some girl will accept you for your height. I hope this abit of info helps.

Nice vid... On the upside as you said its okay to be a girl and be short. It actually makes you more attractive to men. I personally don't know many men who like women to be taller than they are.
Its much tougher when you're a guy I guess. I'm 5'6 and I was always the shortest guy. I try to never complain but I do notice that my taller friends attract more attention from the girls no matter how funny I am or how good I dress... Its tough, but then again who said the world was fair?

Yeah I have had the same delima my whole life.... 5'1 1/2 it sucks when your mom is taller then you especially being a 24 year old man theres a defferent equality and response/respect level in general its just some sorta of instinctual thing humans do but it is what it is....

Im tall, and everybody around me is very short. Sometimes it sucks being tall, because as soon as someone looks at you they stare at you like your a circus freak. Then people call you a giant or refer to you as that "big person standing over there!" And shopping! SHopping is the worse, because It's very hard to find your size being tall. I dont even know my size! And shoes,Tall people have long feet, and we ARE teased about it. You feel like you'll never stop growing!

haha. i really enjoyed this. im short too- 5"1 (still hoping to grow at least an extra inch). but i had a teacher that was like only 5"3 and we all thought she was like 29. but she was actually 40. so it ends up alright cuz you end up looking much younger than you really are.

It was always the opposite for me. I was 5'7" and two inch heels made me taller then most men I knew! I always wanted to be shorter, but yeah I was on the B Ball team, LOL!

I have nine year old twins who are super tiny ( the size of a 5 year old) and tell me how hard it is when nobody believes they are as old as they say they are. They absolutely hate people babying them and it happens on a daily basis. So thanks for sharing your perspective as an adult who just happens to be on the shorter end of the scale! Btw I am not tall either but now when people think I am younger than I really am, I love it:-)
