Regarding you saying that the Holy Diver cover is their version of the solo. Actually it's pretty much a near enough replica of the original, less pinch harmonics and alot more gain/modern metal tones with a few extra notes here and there.

One has a fairly decent solo, considering it's metallica. Sweet child of mine has one of the most amazing guitar solos ever, and it was even voted #1 on a tv show slash hosted on some channel not that long ago. (And no, the solos weren't picked by him.) So you must have one dodgy taste in music mate..

dragonforce is a joke, they recorded at 1/4 the speed of the records and speed it up if you don't believe me ask the band. Alot of there stuff they can't even pull off live.

Not entirely. Dimebag was an awesome guitarist yes, however Herman Li is also an awesome guitar player. I'm not a big fan of pantera really, just the solos, however it got its spot because I believe it to be the worst out of the 10 I chose, even though it's still an epic solo.

killswitch doesn't do guitar solos actually the only song that remotely has a solo by them is the live version of breathe life normally there is a little soloy thing after the fist chorus i believe is when it is but the live version the soloy thing is extended and it's real nice you can get the live version off their dvd
