i own four lizards from Arizona, the lizards here are nothing like anywhere else, i have 2 tiger whiptails, a fullgrown female desert spiny lizard, 2 ornate tree lizards, and 2 Mediterranean geckos. all except for the geckos, these lizards are extremely hard to catch and can be caught very easily using a "Tape Trap" . :) if u ever need advice or help on where to find or how to catch Arizonan lizards, u can ask me. :)
As a long time Arzona herper you come across like a clown. The Mojave Green rattler is the king of the west. It's cool you dig Herps however. So you can't be all bad.
That was so enjoyable and informative. Cant wait to come over there for a look around too, soon. (August). The surroundings are a little similar to here in Australia (just replace the cactus with Eucalypts). GREAT VID, thanks for sharing.
you should really send one of these videos to natgeo or discovery channel, i watch those channels all the time and your stuff is right up to par with some of their stuff on the entertainment scale, ive been watching ur vids all day long haha
hey man... i was just wondering how you learn so much about different herps from all over the world cuz i normally consider myself an intermediate-ish herper but compared to you i know nothing... like how do you know all the different kinds and about them... how did you learn all of this?
nice vid!!!...i would like to find some people to go herping with...i live about an hour north of chicago il and its not easy finding people who are into this awsome hobby....
I'm very impressed with your knowledge of Arizona reptiles. You're a cool young dude. These guys are right. You'd be a good show host for a discovery type channel. I'm from Arizona...I now live in Missouri...:( I can see how much you enjoyed your trip to AZ. Gotta love that place...eh. Oh...The Final Countdown was a hilarious song to add to this at the beginning. I enjoy this video. Thanks.
you really look like you know what you're doing with cottonmouths and rattlers you could honestly become the next steve irwin (w/o the stingray. . . r.i.p. steve)
I live in Scottsdale and I have had several run-ins with rattlesnakes, kingsnakes, and bull snakes. There are also a ton of western banded geckos. So, if you know where to look then it is easy.
Good stuff, like the intro and the cameo by your dad. Nice find on the P. Nose, cool snakes. "No trees", lol, you got that right, great place for herps though.
how did you get so good at herp identification

His diet is the lizards that inhabit that area and they carry mites very often. Probably some stragglers from his last meal.
