  • 10 people want a D4.

  • no built in flash!!! fuckers!!

  • @conebit3 what sort of goon are you, it's a pro body, why would it have built in flash?

  • @ukmitch86 give me a good reason why It wouldnt

  • @conebit3 because it's well known that on-camera flash looks terrible in photos, because in real life you never view the world around you with a pithy small light source under your left eye.

That's why hotshoe flashes have swivel heads so that flash can be bounced to create a larger soft source of light.

It's why flashgun adapters are available to lift the flash off the camera and above the body.

IT's why a whole technique called 'off-camera flash' where people mount flashguns on tripods.

  • 18 Мп крайне мало для сего дня...

  • @MrUltrapepper a d800 or a 5d are the options. 1dx is not meant to be a studio/lanscape camera.

  • WHAT THE F**K A CHAIN CAM GUN!

  • Man I wish this camera while shooting a basketball game last week.

  • I love it, but my 5d mark ii will do just fine still...

  • ohhh aahh oohhh uhh aaaahh aaaahh aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhgg

ehhmm what? ahm sorry: i got an orgasm

  • fcking british accent...

  • @szpt7 I actually LOVE the english accent ... much much better then the aemeariceeeeaaann accent...

  • hopefully one day i will find a case of money and buy one XD

  • @likeawhispr well the 5D mark ii only has 3.7 frames per second so it's not for sports really compared to say the mark iv which is 10 frames per second not really sure about what the d700 is but the best thing that the 5d mark ii offers is the full frame instead of Aps-c

  • @778dylansmith But the new Sony A77 DSLR camera shoots 17 frames per second and has the new transparent mirror technology and costs under $2,000.

  • @CLK50000 but thats a sony lol enough said

  • @CLK50000 i don't thing sony will beat this canon bad boy dude Lol

  • can i buy this in quarters?

  • wow, how much is that ?

    99999999999$ ?

  • @heimcrabs$ 7,000 Plus tax.

  • he has to delete so many photos

  • @PrabhavLilyMusic

in this preview, they did not allow people to stick in their memory cards in the camera, they used tape to prevent people from doing so, so the photos are actually thrown away.

  • Can someone tell me what will be the amount of good sharp photos if i shoot a moving car around 60km/h in RAW using AI SERVO with USM lens. What will be the fps then?

  • If you like Nikon, use Nikon. If you like Canon, use canon. Quite simple really, making it a good argument to have both "FANTASTIC" camera companies around.

  • @Ofirinb hahahaha Nice

  • Your pitch achieved something not many pitches can ...

    I fell asleep

  • Just Like a golf( D4)

  • Is almost like the NIKON D4.

  • @ramfery23 Good luck with life.

  • @dannycurtean to educate fuckin pricks like you cocksucker, although it would b like trying to educate a garbage bin, why does anybody post,CLOWN.?

  • Very difficult to justify the price compared to the superbly capable 5D MkII. I'll just wait and see what they do for the Mk III.

As for Nikon, I just can't deal with the clunky design of the things.

  • @AshtonPhoto "superbly capable" is up to debate depending on what you shoot. The D700 beats my 5d Mark II to death when shooting sports. The 1Dx isn't hard to justify at all if you're shooting sport portraiture and other shots where the subject is moving. The 5d Mark II just can't compete in that type of photography against a D700, D3, 1DIII or 1DIV let alone the 1Dx.

  • @likeawhispr

It does depend on the application, yes. If you primarily shoot sports the MkII is less than adequate.

Btw: I shot sports with a 10D. Baseball, T&F, football, basketball...

Then I got my hands on an 1DN. Wowza.

  • I was a nikon guy last summer but FUCK nikon now.

  • not impressed with it

  • @DanceForMe13 Weird. It's like he uses the harsh shadow on the close background as an outline separation, like a comic or tattoo artist would. It's not my favorite style, but I see your point about not being able to use it if it's not there.

  • one letter, one number. D4

  • I'm a Nikon guy too, but this one made me decide to switch camps. Not for 1DX though, but for Canon in general. Somehow I've been put off by Nikon's marketing BS about a "multimedia camera". Now, I have to say, I like video in SLR's and use it, but Canon, somehow I feel in Canon photography comes first and is paramount, and pro video is reserved for the newest Canon cine-cameras. I only wish they made a higher-res FF cam for landscape shooters. Thanks.

  • I am a Nikon guy, but this camera is 100% porn! ;-)

  • First few seconds made me think it was a machine gun!!

Ah can’t wait for this to be out on the market. Need to get one!

  • at that price I hope you get a spare battery.

  • check out my channel. Its about photografie too!

  • She's a Beaut!

  • Dear Santa...?

  • i shoot nikon, and i am impressed. i wonder how nikon will answer to this.

  • @9ballprodigy they can't answer to this. 200.000 ISO? 14fps? difficult to answer

  • @euklidis1984 It's ISO range is 100-51200, with expanded sensitivities of 50 to 102400 and 204800. It's capable of 14fps. Your questions were not difficult to answer.

  • 360p and it's almost 2012...

  • thx for the pro post !

  • One reason to want an integrated flash is to wirelessly control another flash or flashes. Pro cameras do not have them because the larger pentaprism can be a problem, and as kind of a "tradition" thing. Only Minolta ever put an integrated flash on their pro flagship Maxxum 9, and it did not sell well.

  • @PuertoRicanVideo You know you can always use a radio controller on the camera for all the flashes :) It's cheap and effective :)

  • @AldebaranBG I had no idea! So that is another thing not built into this camera that I could add to do the same thing that Canon's Amateur cameras have built in. Awsome! I'll bet I could Add GPS like some compacts have built in also.

  • @PuertoRicanVideo Yes, you can ;) You can see all the compatible Canon Accessories on Canon's website ;)

  • @AldebaranBG Again I am shocked.

  • SOLD!

  • Just wish I could buy this but having lost my job this year so I cannot, Will have to stick to my 30 and 40 D, dream on it looks great.best of luck Canon .

  • @Hal1010100 ahahahahahaha. Troll.

  • @Hal1010100 shitty? integrated flash is crap dude, especially on a pro-level cam

  • major sexy time camera. but an ethernet port...? canon, seriously?

and does the set wheel still spin around?

  • @jaywbe Yes, the gay Set weel still spins.

  • @Hal1010100 Why would you want an integrated flash? They suck. No professional camera has one.

  • @mbl5295 No professional camera has an integrated flash? Then I guess the Hasselblad H4D isn't professional enough since it has one.

  • @DanceForMe13 Nice! lol

  • @DanceForMe13 Why any photographer that is using a Hasselblad would want on-axis flash is beyond me. I've never seen a BTS portrait session where a Hasselblad user wasn't using an impressive lighting setup of some kind, radio controlled. That feature of those camera's has always confused me. The size of the lenses alone makes an on camera flash ineffective, as you'd get the damn lenses shadow in your shot.

  • @Demostrega You should check out the work of Terry Richardson. Just because most shots don't include the hard shadows and flat lightning an on-axis flash gives you doesn't mean it can't produce good pictures in the hands of a skilled photographer. But if you don't have one, you can't use one...

  • @Hal1010100 might as well get a Speedlight if you're using a 6.8k camera, y'know.

  • Brilliant. Video is my main interest.

  • I'm pretty sure Nikon has been metering in color since the early 90s....took a while for Canon to catch up. This camera seems awesome though :O

  • @Hal1010100 why do you need an intergrated flash? =))

  • @SolaninNT because he is a noob. Or troll...

  • $650,000yen,that meants$HK65,000=_=

    US$8100--

    $mop67,000........

  • beauty. I liked this camera even though I am a nikon fan.

  • dear mummy and daddy, buy me this for christmas or i will kill myself!

  • @poponse WOAH, don't even think that bro!

  • Wow

  • i remember how it started 1995 from 1.3 megapixels CCD and 2.7fps the canon 1D, EOS DCS 3 with integrated 260 mb HDD to Canon EOS 1Dx at 18 megapixels CMOS and 14 frames per second with dual digic 5 (1 digic 5 is 17 times faster than digic4) and one digic 4 only for the auto focus... with dual CF card slots... in about 20 years they made miracles...

  • $6,800.00 at release the starting price

  • Why are people complaining about the LCD screen of the 1D X? I think there is no freakin' photographer who is monitoring his pictures on that tiny screen.

  • How much for this? In Norway I've seen it for 1.000.000 NOK (=about $160.000 USD)! For that price I can Get a RED One epic.... Or a Ferrari here in Norway.........

  • @MrTycoon123 It'll be around 7,000 USD

  • you forget that your lcd screen is nowhere near the resolution... thats key.

  • Where is the 1D-X being made? Japan still?

  • Dear Santa...

  • "huge lcd screen"??? My compact camara has a bigger lcd

  • @flotars Im pretty sure your little ass compact does not shot this fast, your compact is prob like 1FPS per hour

  • @JOEBLANC87 I'm not saying that my compact camera is better, I'm just saying that this lcd screen on this camera is not big, and certainly not "huge" like they say in this review.

  • @flotars it doesnt have that resolution lol...

  • I love that bright screen, gorgeous !

  • very big lump for point n shooter

needs a pop up flash china

  • ny clams is this going to set me back ..in USD?

  • I want ONE!
