@josee431 yes but not like how you think. No hardcore vertical drops. It's more like a small dip and sharp turn like the Matterhorn except more intense. I won't go on any rides with drops but I love this one.

I haven't been to Disneyland since 1990, but I went to Disney World last year. Something I didn't realize was that Anaheim's Space Mountain has riders sitting side by side. The cars at Disney World are narrow and I think maaaybe that was why, in retrospect, I like WDW's better. My wife tells me the one in Disneyland Paris is the best, though.

I GO HERE EVERY OCTOBER TO DISNEYLAND AND THEY TURN SPACE MOUNTAIN INTO GHOST GALAXY I THINK THEY JUST BEGAN TO DO THAT IN 2009 IT IS VERY FUN EXCEPT THE FACT YOU CAN SEE THE PROJECTOR SCREEN WHEN YOU LOOK DOWN.. :) It is so much fun! I wonder if they do ghost galaxy at disneyworld as well....Do they???

@axdem1901, not how I remeber it. I just went a few days ago, and its pretty dark. you cant see the track, but you can see some scaffolding and supports just like the regular space mountain ride.

@legodude700videos i went the first week that it was halloweenized, it was awesome, but for some reason i was a little disappointed. i could see the whole track cuz i was in the front and in the back i could see the other cars in front of me and the supports and stuff. i like it with stars better, but it's really fun ;D i'm going in 2 days again so hopefully it will be better because i know what to expect ;D

@axdem1901 I have very great advice for Ghost Galaxy . To Make it darker just wear sunglasses . The ride seems 25% darker with them on.

@axdem1901 It's seems to be darker with my Kirkland Polarized Sunglasses . Plus the on-ride photo blinds me . I hate that feeling of being blind , that flash is the brightest flash I've seen. Or is it just me.

The stars in space mountain is not as good as the tower of tower . I want Disneyland to get rid off Disco Balls they are very ancient today . They can get 24 1080p HD Projectors to make it more Space Adventure .The Stars should twinkle and be more brighter including Galaxies,Blackhole,Astroids,Co­mets,Metors,

Nebulas,Sun,Planets and Moon . This would make a huge improvement to Space Mountain visual effects and return of Dick Dale Soundtrack.

I like Ghost Galaxy much better because of the soundtrack and visual effects were much better than the regular space mountain . Space Mountain stars are ugly compaired to peter pan and tower of terror . Disney should redo space Mountain stars make the more beautiful like before renovation. And make some 3D Stars,Twinkle Stars and More things that are in space . Also put back the old soundtrack. Take out the lights in the warp speed tunnel with a meteor shower and remove the spinning lift hill.
