He doesn't do anything special here and he's lucky to have the one and only MOHD RAFI sing for him. After Leader, Dilip Kumar's head was weird shaped - creepy face. Also, tragedy isn't the only way to mark greatness (BORING!)what about comedy? Could Dilip do the Sholay water tower scene as well? Hema looks beautiful here. She and Lata win!

It's silly to compare the vocals of Rafi & Lata for obvious reasons (although the two correspond to each other in terms of career, greatness, ability etc). Of all the singers, in THIS song, Lata's voice is the most melodious, clean and CRISP. She is amazing! Rafi Sahab (as dictated by the illustration here) sounds rougher (esp. in the beginning) and doesn't employ AS much melody as he usually does (again, by design of song - give up melody for a real strong tone). Lata proves her greatness here.
