I really like these games and I got AP princess it didnt have any funky DRM. I want you to hear this ICC because I made the conscious decision not to buy any of the other ones because I did not want to deal with any such issues. I hope that when a new one comes out it will be even more awesome than any of the others and that it will use a simple disk-check on startup for security and nothing more.

Are people even aware of that Kings Bounty and HOMM is made by the same game producers?? Whats this talk about ripping off? Kings Bounty is simply HOMM precursor. It wasnt untill 2007 that 1C Company bought the property rights from NWC, but its still not a rip off. They simply stayed true to the game. Do your homework, kids!

@redpanda416 The way battles play out is quite similar indeed. The biggest difference is that KB has no city-building strategy aspects and plays a lot more like an RPG, which is definitely what I like better about this. You only control one hero and go on an epic adventure across many lands. Though if you like Heroes of Might and Magic, I'm sure you'll like this, too. I definitely did.

I am an old timer having played the original KB and also HoMM 1-5. I sort of like the HoMM 5 but when i played KB - The Legend (demo) I totally saw how so much better HoMM 5 could have been made. C1 did a superb job out of Kings Bounty, much better than Ubisoft did for HoMM 5. Ubisoft look at what they did here! Regarding the fan wars between HoMM and Kings Bounty. It just makes no sense. Jon Van Caneghem for New World Computing originally created all 3 - KB, M&M and HoMM. Kudos to him :)

Chaos ofc, but the situations in which this spell is of any use are highly limited. I think I used it once during a full walkthrough. Rain of Fire is still the best damage dealing spell when it comes to masses.

It looks like a Heroes of Might and Magic rip but that's certainly not a bad thing. I didn't enjoy Heroes 5 half as much as I enjoyed 2, 3, and 4. I just hope this game doesn't disappoint.

this game is everything but awesome! unique, I like it because of the similarities of Heroes of Might and Magic as well as the many other things improved . The idea is the same but everything else is one of a kind! Great game , cant wait for the english version(althought I'm bulgarian and could understand russian pretty well, as it is very similar to my language(russian derives from anciant bulgarian language called Kirilica, named after its creator St. Kiril)
