Houdini's Grave - in a creepy, abandoned cemetery

I have to say it upsets me to see the cemetary in this condition. I haven't lived in Queens for 8 yrs. now and the sight of Houdini's grave site upsets me because I can't believe how unkept it is. Why is it boarded up? What happened? Does anyone know? Why doesn't someone do something about this?

I was there once. Oct.31,2007. GOT a ticket for being there. but Hey it was worth the price to see a legend. a role model or his time and even now. Even though i am no where near 90 something yrs old. He is an Idol to me.
