Your video file is a bad codec which is why it is "too fast" for us to see. The guy twiddles at an average speed. I've seen people much faster. I can even twiddle faster, but I typically don't twiddle as I use the same rubber on both sides.
@MoPar7055 Use the rubber. One is anti-spin (reverse the spin). If opponent uses a top spin when the ball touch the anti-spin rubber, the ball go back like a slice.
Now if the anti-spin´s opponent use a slice, the ball go back with forward spin.
@Paulancar Anti Spin doesn't reverse spin. It essentially gives slight topspin or dead balls back no matter what the spin is given to them. Long pips reverses spin.
actually some rubbers are better for smashing so his backhand rubber might be more effective for smashing so when he has his oppentent way back he can twiddle his bat and smash with the other rubber
No... he has pips on FH and inverted on BH. He uses the inverted rubber on BH to serve to get maximum spin, and than after the serve he flips it back to his FH pips.
nothing is better than either. penhold and shakehand is just as good. personally i do shakehand, but i live in Europe, so not so many PH-ers here. no PH-ers in my club either, (Sportsklubben Heros) in Bergen, Norway. anyways. PH and SH is just style. none is better than the other one, nonetheless you're a pher and try sh or other way around.
i just realised...your rubber config!i might have confused it with another thing, but i thought pips out max thickness was 2.00mm? and you're using 2.1sponge? with the topsheet?
It doesn't matter how you grip the paddle, as long as you get the most out of it. Penhold users uses different forms than shakhand users to return the ball from each hit. The penhold grip focuses on a quick transition between forehand and backhand while the shakehand grip allows almost even power distribution over forehand and backhand shots, but has a wider crossover point in between.

my eyes are good
BUT i still cant see the difference in the two sides?
they both seem to be smooth rubber
so rly there's no point to it

Your eyes are not good enough. Red side is pips out, black is smooth.
