The government is way over their heads. What good is it gonna do blocking the websites people use everyday? That is considered violating the first amendment. Like what waterlizardsz123 said, there's always gonna be piracy around. Always have been and always will be. Honestly, I really doubt it's gonna pass.

Megaupload is a Hong Kong based site, and I don't see how the hell can the U.S. government intervene with a site based in another country. They weren't able to do anything to the pirate bay since it was hosted in Sweden, so why should Megaupload be shut down? It may have something to do with the fact that they are ".com".. but I don't know..
But I don't believe Megaupload should be shut down, because you cannot stop piracy, piracy will always be in this world.

Just my two cents here...
