I loved this movie!Its a great comedy and thats what it should be taken for!If you want more serious anti-communist movies watch Dr. Zhivago,The Lost City etc......Oh and by the way,not all americans are ignorant,so what you said there is proof of ignorance!

Unfortunately, this is not a great comedy. Though, if you considered it as such, it is because you are very ignorant of many great comedies in the history of cinema.

I loved the version of 'Come fly with me' sung by the cast at the credits in the fimm. Catherine Tate is brill in this film - as always. I love this movie lmao!!!!!!xx
all of you know someone who was an extra, or a friends mum directed etc... well, i beat you all, i know catherine tate, she's a friend of my dads!! lol
this story was actually about my dad his mum his dad his sister and his other sister moving to east gremany but it didn't really work out ( like the film) and my auntie (dads sister) actually had the idea 4 this Clever girl!!
i dont really like Catherine tate as a comedian, but i really thought she was great in this film. my mate was an extra in this film aswell =D. Some of its filmed near where i live too. woo
