The car driver is for sure at fault, but the officer should also be faulted, you cannot assume that all drivers are paying attention to the road 100% of the time, this is impossible and not human, it only takes a second to not see the officer, second, the motobike was side ways, and had no side flashing lights, although the officer had a high vis jacket, the driver would have to be looking far ahead to spot him, not possible to see everything all the time on the road, but glad the cop survived

@HeyStephenEffer I think you are not able to differenciate the point of view of the camera and the point of view of the driver, from his point of view nothing is blocking his view after the truck went over to the left side. He is just not paying attention to the road, probably on the phone or drunk.

The cop was in the wrong. When escorting funerals and entering a freeway we always keep the bike as far back as possible in the 'pie' (the triangle between the lanes) and wave the approaching traffic over one lane. The cop should never have ridden into the traffic lane and stopped.
He was just asking for accident to happen...and it did!

Hope he was ok, but I think an error on his part a bit. Why did he stop in the lane of the motorway !!!. He should have stopped on the white hatched area where it was safe, and then waved the traffic across. The motorist should have seen him, but he put himself in a lot of danger by stopping ON the motorway.

WTF is wrong with all you people. The car has a clear line of site WAY before it would need to merge or emergency brake. The police bike has strobes on. This is looks like it is the kind of thing you should expect in the country in question. And the car makes NO attempt to slow swerving only when it less than ten feet from the bike. This is 100% the cars fault.

@roossi Are you watching the same video as everyone else. That truck had moved over, the yellow car just kept going. Even the car in front of the yellow one had moved over. This is 100% the yellow car's fault.

@Skable001 well ok. but the thing is we dont know what was that driver doing at the time. maybe he was changin song or just watching what that truck is doing or maybe lighting a cigarette. the point is that pay attention next time when u drive on a free way and something of those above, then think that truck changes lane in front of u if it all happens at wrong timing theres nothing u could do. or it can be that the driver just hates pigs as much as I do, and drove over cos he had change :)

wow i've never had difficulty getting on to a motorway, specialy one which isnt busy.
so he ended up slowing the very vehicle which he was aiding, by putting himself on a high speed road stood over a bike, i think seeing an abulance with motorcade is enough for most people to see without having to drive over a sleeping policeman

Funny, I was almost certain the driver of the yellow car was some bubbleheaded girl who was watching the make-up mirror and not the road. Because it's usually those who are dumb enough not to watch where they are driving. The worst are those SUV driving soccer-moms.
