How often does it thunderstorm during monsoon?

i lived there and went to taos middle and i remember this storm me and my friends were walking to the rec center

does it flood in taos, nm? or how much feet of snow do you guys get?

I've lived here for 10 years and I've never seen it flood in Taos. The streams and ditches do flood some but not too much.

The amount of snow varies. During the years of 1997 thru 2005 or so it didn't snow much and any snow would be gone by the afternoon. For the last several years the amount of snow has been increasing. This year we have had more snow, like about 5 or more inches that has stayed.

The Taos Ski Valley is another story. Lots and lots of snow there.

no prob, this is actually one of my favorites cause you have something now alot of people have.. thats HEAVY HAIL, Thunder and Lightning, and a nice Cloud shape you can pick out straight above you not to mention some blue sky! Thats amazing and I can tell you are under the center downdraft. I storm chase alot during Monsoon season and man this takes me back! :)
