So how exactly do you start something like this and get it timed as perfect as you guys did? I mean, I can kinda grasp how you do all four parts yourself(still blows me away that you can do a one man barbershop) but with someone else, its just hard to think of how it all comes together as seamlessly as guys make it. Good on you both, happy to be a subscriber :D

@0nyx777 It's mostly practice: I recorded my parts first, starting with lead and then bass. I sent my audio tracks to Sonny, who recorded tenor and baritone, using my audio tracks. When I practice, I listen to my template track over and over until I memorize the timing. One has to be very precise yet not get too stiff by over-learning and try and make it look as spontaneous as possible. ;-)

We each recorded our audio & video in our countries (Belgium for Sonny and France for me). I recorded my audio tracks first around March 2011, then Sonny did his a few weeks later. My videos were shot in November 2011 and his about a month after that. And I pieced everything together in January 2012.

I'm really happy with how it turned out, I'm almost fooled by the illusion of a quartet too!;-)
