We've done "wear test" reviews where someone at Tactics skates the shoes and gives feedback, both positive and negative. There's one for the éS Square Two and Keano and one for the Nike SB Blazer CS. Hey guys ( and girls) should I get the picos because I have always wanted to try some lakais and these seem like the best ones. People say they suck but I don't believe that because they majority of them use mob and it eats your shoes alive. I have jessup because black magic is to slippery and mob is too grippy and tears shoes easily. Thx :)

@edwardelmatador you're comparing two very different shoes. The LPE is a great all around casual shoe, so good for summer. These Picos are great for skating and there's nothing stopping you from chillen in them. They'll both work for "summer shoes" like you asked. -Benson

@fuckyou8311 I've had like 4 or 5 pair of Lakais and they're great, as long as you don't get the light-weight models or anything with canvas. They last forever especially the manchesters, if you want a great shoe you should try these out.

@fuckyou8311 hey man i have never skated the picos but i skated a pair of lakais last year and they were probably the best shoe i've had. with shoe goo and also a lil lack of money (haha) they lasted for like 5 months. no shit. after those five months the whole shoe was fucked though. but yeah.

but if you need a new pair of shoes you shold really get a pair of habitats. they are awesome. i skate the quest now and it is the best shoe i've ever had.

well this helped me, dont do flatground too much, go for something challenging like boxes, sets, gaps, manny pads, etc, i suggest to not waste time on flat but its your decision.

@emericaordie15 if you're skating 4+ hours a day, pretty much every shoe will break down quickly. The Picos are rad, though; one of our team riders swears by them and they last pretty long for him.

@emericaordie15 you can always buy shoe goo. if the outsole is wearing down fat, you can always cover iit in shoe goo, that way it doesnt wear down all the way. thats what i doo.the only thing that really matters to me when i skate, is the grip durabilty. because, i go through grip pretty good, but i flick out with the outsole of my shoes, like most people learn to develope to do, so i dont tear the fabric of my shoes. but yes. shoe is only 5 bucks at walmart. and it helps alot. i skate 3hours

@rockyrbdy basically, you're taking your shoes to a belt sander every time you ollie/kickflip/whatever, so any shoe will break down under those circumstances. Finding the middle ground between a shoe that skates good and some bulky moon boot is difficult because companies want to make shoes that last while at the same time make them good for skating.

@tacticsboardshop i think a good shoe thats really durable and funtional, is the adidas campus vulc,or nike sb blazers. there grip is VERY durable. can last up to 4 months. the outsole, is nothign special. i suggest shoe gooing the outsole of a shoe, once it wears down a little past the first part of teh vulc. thats what i do,it makes shoes last much longer.and the shoe goo itslef, lasts about 2 weeks on the outsole, so thats pretty good too. but any shoe company can make a good shoe.
