I have many African friends and I speak Garifuna fluently and none of them understand it. If you want to see the Indegenous influence look at the use of the Ruguma in preparation of cassava bread, the beat for the Dugu ceremony, the Abeimahani and Arumahani songs. I am tired of people defining Garifuna in their way or what makes.....
