I have to ask - do you pamper and coddle that Toyota? I used to do that when I had my '86 4x4. I washed and waxed it once a week whether it needed it or not.
My father had an 85 toyota 4x4, sold it running with about 265,000 miles. It was used for work, and used for offroad patrol, as he was a volunteer blackrock park ranger. Hell of a truck, I dont think anyone has built a better truck since.
just keep a check on the coolent level the first generation v-6's had bad head issues because of the factory gaskets used. there was a factory recall so maybe yours has already been done.
Hmm, maybe it did, I really don't know. Thanks for the heads up though. I always pay attention to all of my gauges. I know that I just got a recall on a steering rod part or something on her...
HiLux must be only with a diesel especially with 4WD transmission)))

I lost my 85 2WD X-Cab to rust cancer, but I am now trying to refurbish a nice shape 92 X-Cab 2WD.
Toyota's are like a disease you can't get rid of.
